I've only had the white soled skate classics and the gloss wore off on mine so I'd assume the same goes for the black soles.

i had the all black old skools with white stitching and the black sole definitely lost its shine in a session or 2. i definitely wouldn’t worry too hard about them staying shiny.

They sold these in a sick black black/gum colorway for like 20$ back in the day so me and all my friends skated this shoe a lot. So good.
