I also like the way the Flaco looks but yeah the logo looks like some flea market nikes. They need to tone it down or just very small wrote lakai.

Sometimes that clear sole works, sometimes it doesn't.

For me it doesn't with this colorway.

Clear sole has the same problem gum sole often has where it doesn't match the rest of the shoe. (For some reason white soles are exempt from this) that Ave shoe then adds another problem with the midsole colour being visable but also not matching anything. The white logo and laces should of been blue like the midsole or the midsole white or grey

The biggest problem with the AVE is the very delicate mesh they used for it. I do like the feel of the ultimate waffle sole.

I actually dont agree at all. I think that colorway makes a lot of sense colorblocking wise. The midsole is blue, and all the accents are blue (vans side woven label, tongue branding, the back of the heel outsole patch). The clear rubber is like a "non color" so it always works, and then the grey and white is consistent everywhere. if it's a good colorway? well, that's debatable... but at least it has a logic IMO.
