Yea, those black and yellow ones look good. Not holding my breath for a better sole tough. I want to love these shoes, but i cant justify $90 for shoes that dont feel as good or last anywhere near as long as used J1's i can find on ebay for less than $90 regularly. I've gotten some not so great colorways that were a little beat up for as low as $58

I’m waiting for the pal review. I like my Telfords to wear out at night but just walking I. em I know I couldn’t skate em. Sucks cause I like Lakais. Riley 2s did me solid. Hope the Atlantic sole makes em skateable.

Yea, really wish they would use the small one more often, would be a huge upgrade looks-wise. I absolutely love the way the trudgers fit. everyones feet are different, but they feel great on mine. great ankle support and heel lock, the toebox is kinda wide and stubby rather than long and pointy, but i personally like that. I hate when my toes get squeezed together, and im a size ten, but a small ten, so the stubbiness doesnt bother me. Hope they keep this model around, not hopeful though.

Edit: the lace placement on the trudger is better suited for skating imo. Telford looks better, but functionally speaking the fewer eyelets and inward placing of them leads to fewer torn laces.

I really liked the whole shoe. Compared to old skool a they didn't look too fucked in a 13 but yeah I prob just want to be 20 again lol. I can't imagine them making a whole new sole for one shoe so maybe the Templeton 4 is a good compromise. Bit of the 1 flavour but could potentially work on an existing sole
