Those do-over figgys look better than his second shoe, by far. I wonder if Emerica plan on doing G6 runs on other models, a Laced G6 would be cool.

those new lakai's look interesting. i gotta give it to them for doing something different. i love hidden laces and wish it was more common. i recall around the early 2000s, a lot of eS DC Osiris had this feature.


 also is fourstar making a come back? they have the IG page up with no updates since 2018. I always liked the brand and still have a ton of there clothes.

True. The original laced had that piping detail that gave it a kind of charm. Even though it would blow out, I liked it. Something about them getting rid of that and slapping romero's name on them made me not want them anymore.

True. The original laced had that piping detail that gave it a kind of charm. Even though it would blow out, I liked it. Something about them getting rid of that and slapping romero's name on them made me not want them anymore.

Converse is so disappointing. Feels like they barely come out with new models and still only release a few colors of the staple models. I think they cheaped out on the all star heel patch now too and it's just some glued on label with faux stitching. It's crazy that converse basically wants to survive off 3 shoes; chucks, one star, louie(for now); with a few other short lived models here and there. I want to see at least a return of some older shoes like the star player, sea star, weapons, fast breaks etc.

Went to the website to see the other offerings are, the only shoes on the converse website are the Louie, One star and Chuck Pro.

on the german site there are only models basically i think. chucks in low/hi/mid? and suede or canvas, a low pro leather, and two colorways of the louies on sale in one size each.

Maybe better for the controversial opinion thread but of all the big brands to come into skating Cons has done the absolute least they can do to stay afloat. They don't really release any useful tech updates to their shoes or much that is relevant for skating. There is no reason they couldn't build upon Lunarlon or do what NB is doing with the internal structure of their thinner vulcs. They have the money, but would rather churn out the same old shit to use the image to boost the appeal of their staples.
