Saw these on the slappy god's (abe bethal) instagram story. He just recently opened a shop so im assuming they are going to carry them. I dont have any info on them but figured someone else might....Anybody know anything about Opus or what it is all about? Shoes dont look too bad from the picture. I wonder who is behind this company. No posts on their page yet

Not super relevant but I didn’t feel it deserved it’s own thread . The new thrasher has an ad for Nora’s shoe but it’s featuring Carl aikens. Whose name is actually way bigger than Nora’s. it’s So weird to launch a pro model and not even be the person in the ads for it. I’m guessing they don’t have much faith in the shoe. I give it 3 seasons . I forget how to post pics from iPhone or id post the ad.

I would assume it would be to not let it be pigeonholed as a women’s specific shoe and showcase it as a non gender specific model.
It’s a smart move to ensure people know that.

You have a good point but it’s also interesting given the way vans has handled Lizzie’s marketing. Nora broke her ankle while on the first tour thing advertising the shoe. You'd think they'd of had some photos they could use/everything would of been set up ready to go months ago but who knows maybe they had to scramble last minute and just use a Carl photo

Can anybody chime in on how the Crockett highs fit width wise?  My foot is a little wider.  Vans old skools fit great, but some of the others I have tried were a little too narrow.  Thanks

The Samba ADV is different than that one. That one was terrible and looked like shit. To be honest there's not much difference at all between OG Sambas and the new Samba ADV. The tounge is slightly more padded but still not much and there's tongue straps. This is coming from someone who owns several OG Sambas and runs a shop that sells Samba ADVs.

Yeah I skated the regular ones a couple years back. They skated good. The leather was kinda soft and didn't last super long, but the leather feels the same on lots of the ADV. I swapped the soles out because they're quite thin but that's just personal preference. The insole doesn't really seem any thicker in the ADV.
