New Vans Carroll colorways? Been waiting on these that popped up a while ago.

I thought these looked like samples of some shoes that may or may not come out everywhere.  Used to be a real treat whenever the samples ended up at the Vans clearance stores near where I worked, even though not my size, it was cool to see in person all the options of new styles, or even just new colourways of existing shoes.  So many you would hardly even see anywhere else and some that never seemed to go into production at all.

It would be cool if they did release these, or a few more options in them.

They should have a great pro leather skate shoe. That is such a missed opportunity. Makes me think of Bobby in INFMS

Navy/White Carroll reissue is the only colour I've seen confirmed so far for November release. They're released as VCU so limited accounts and not in the regular catalogs, so info on them comes through a little later than other ones. The XLT also releases in November. Haven't seen any confirmation on the white Carrolls but I also hope they make it to production.

Does E's just have absolutely no faith in their current riders to give any of them, even if it's just one of their current pros, their own actual shoe, to invest in their current talent vs. paying to bring something back that hasnt been 1:1 for quite some time (leading to the flops), and keep sinking further into the "nostalgia" money pit they have made for themselves? Does not one of the remaining skaters at E's not deserve their own shoe?

Ive seen some skaters whom were on E's now wearing Asics and a few other brands at this point and i havent checked the site to see if they still have a team anymore, but this is just my $0.02.

It seems like it’s the shoe Arto actually wanted for his pro model.   Early samples had the accel sole, but I’m guessing they didn’t want a Shane Janoski situation

They’re different. Not good but not bad. What’s with the bumper thing? I thought it was trolling when Austyn’s shoe released, but is this a new trend for 2023?
