accel slims are crazy thin so probably. Also that's their most popular shoe, probably because it's so thin  that it skates like a vulc. I don't get how this is a scam? Many skate shoe soles look like this because people like shoes with a lot of boardfeel. Look at the other cuts on weartested, like a 1/3 of them look like this. The difference with the Sophisto is the thin ass insole.

It's the same sole es has used since they came back nearly 10 years ago. Whenever there's someone who's like vulc shoes are shitty I need cupsoles they should be shown this picture so they know the names cup and vulc don't really mean anything.

Pish poor comparison considering the fact about the Accel Slim sole is pretty known to be pish in terms of support as far as cups goes. Board feel being good, yeah. It would be cool if skate shoe companies were clear about how padded the soles are. They could market them with the dissected view so you know what you're getting. "Cupsole" can be anything from this:

It's a pretty useless descriptor when trying to figure out if a shoe will wreck your knees or not.

As far as thin flexible cups, they're pretty good. Nothing wild cushioning wise but my feet don't feel awful. The toe shape is great and they're responsive. The laces suck but it made me learn a new knot so that's cool.

I can only speak for my experience with the Puig Indoor. They were by far the thinnest cupsole I ever tried on. The NB# 306 Jamie Foy shoe is a vulc shoe. The Adidas Puig Indoor is a cupsole but felt half as padded as the NB# 306. The Puig Indoor were really thin and light and didn't offer much protection. But maybe some people like exactly that in a shoe.
