" In a nod to the city of Berlin, this Dunk Low gives an iconic sneaker known for its attitude an even sharper edge. The black and Off Noir colorway pays homage to the city's rich history and bustling nightlife. Real and synthetic leather mix with glossy patent leather accents, capturing Berlin's nocturnal allure and the dance of neon lights as they buzz and flicker after dark.
Inside, a "No Photography Allowed" tongue label gives a subtle nod to the exclusivity of the underground club scene. Reflective accents inspired by tattoo designs wrap the heel, calling out the sneaker's namesake with an esoteric artistic expression. Cool Grey accents, custom insoles and hoop-and-ball charms complete the design. Tattoos, piercings, underground nightlife teeming with grit-Berlin, this Dunk's for you."

That is a funny idea for an shoe. Would never buy it but I am also not the usual Berghain or party guy. Just one thing. If you are in Berlin and someone with an eyebrow piercing wants to talk to you. Run. Run as far as you can. But I think eyebrow piercings are due for an return from the younger generation which haven't witnessed the crazyness of the late 90s.

I dunno who this shoe is aimed at. People that care about club culture and like techno especially in Berlin generally don't give two shits about some corpo collab.

It’s for the people who wanna be those people.

I know there is a “questions that don’t deserve their own thread” thread but I thought I’d ask shoe heads this. How long exactly has “cons” been around? There are some cons I’ve seen online that are not possibly made anyyyyy time recently that are like SUPER wack looking. I know Kenny Anderson rode for them in the 90s but then was it called “cons” the ones I’ve seen (I’d post them if I knew how to add a photo) look like they were in 1985 back to the future

Converse CONS Prevent This Tragedy came out in 2010. I’d guess the CONS program ala Anthony Pappalardo, Sammy Baca, Nick Trapasso, Ethan Fowler, Kenny Anderson came out in 2008/2009?

In the late nineties they had a skate program. Chany Jenguan (sp) had two crazy looking models. Felix Arguelis (again, sp)and one or two other dudes were on the team (I think that might have been when Kenny was one, potentially before Adio. Honestly, I remember a lot of the shoes having crazy designs.

cons branding was used on their basketball shoes in the late 80's early 90's

He made it sound like it was taking cues from a retro basketball shoe i.e. Alexis's shoe

Funny, I was just thinking today after seeing that 4/4 CPH video that he should have a 2nd shoe. Love the the fact that he have the 1 low and mid, that should be a staple.

The Lopez 2 according to Converse is inspired by classic track and field cleats. Looks more like a soccer shoe than basketball. Doesn't look basketball at all. Can't post pictures but it has a similar toe and eyestay to the Fastbreak but doesn't look like a Fastbreak. And dont worry, no nylon.

Kind of a slimmer thinner cupsole. Nothing shocking but pretty nice I think people will like it. Except for the initial colourway release. People gonna talk mad shit. Spring 25 release.

Aaron Herrington has been making these look so good. I hope con’s takes some hints from the team and actually starts putting effort into their offerings again. It’s pretty wild their entire line outside of Louie and Alexis’ shoes is essentially just the chucks and one star with the occasional fastbreak and that cupsole blazer looking shoe.

They have a pretty big archive to pull cues from I wonder how much is Nikes doing trying to not have too similar of demographics between the two skate programs. Like a kid who skates chucks prolly wouldn’t buy dunks but a kid who skate dunks would probably buy fast breaks or weapons.

Those kind of look like driving shoes with the rolled heel. Also never thought of it before but the ollie pad is also similar to driving shoes for heel-toe.

I see some dorks on Instagram lauding over the improvements made on the 405 Accels that just came out, has anyone been able to do comparisons between them, the previous iteration of the Accel, and original Accels from decades ago (I realize there are different iterations of them prehiatus)

They honestly don’t look much different in photos from OGs that we have in the our shop.
