I see people of all stripes buying LRAB at my local quite frequently (second to dunks based entirely on offhand observation)

If it doesn’t have a stripe or swoosh then everything looks the same hahaha, brother that’s how it’s been forever, but low key I think hours fits 10x better than last resorts

I mean the paneling is changed to be more similar to a g-code, but it just feels like a re-tred of the CM001. I guess LRAB/Hours have become the successor to the Emerica legacy.

A ton of non-skaters at my company wear LRAB because they look like the super expensive minimal designer shoes but are made better than the ZARA knock offs. Locally our shops cannot move LRAB and they're always on sale.

i think the main reason why i see so many kids wearing LRABs rn is because they are always on sale nowadays

Nah they showed it off early but it’s a spring/summer drop

found them on sale for 45€. only wore them around the appartment so far but seem very comfy. bit puffy for my liking but i'm curious to skate them anyways!

any other pals have experience with these?

What're you talking about? The Emerica G-Code doesn't have a toe cap and the CM001 doesn't look like this except it also has a toecap (but a very different one). Do you mean why do they both insist on making more minimal vulc shoes and more minimal cupsoles? Those are the shoes people buy.

I like those g code cups. I also like the dilo cup. I’d probably buy some hours im just concerned they wouldn’t last or be uncomfortable. I bought some state cups and the tread was so shallow and wasn’t very comfy it kinda ruined me on taking risks.

I’m almost into these but I’m not feeling the material on the tongue and the logo on it. It looks cheap, or like a non skate shoe you’d pick up at Ross to skate in if that makes sense.

on my 3rd pair of ascends, it’s a fantastic shoe! Can find them on CCS from $50-$77 right now!

The factory probably has that as a generic / standard mold so makes sense to pick one off shelf early on just to get an initial impression and then decide where to go from there.

I have a few of their dress shoes, got them for my wedding and damn are they comfy as hell, I totally backed them, so after that I got a pair to skate in and idk i would say they broke in quick, comfy, had a good toe for flick, I like them but I know the rest of the world gets weird when shoes don’t have a swoosh so idk

They start making cupsoles I’ll scoop a pair, that being said I’ve seen a couple pairs in the wild, mostly older dudes though, that Gage kid rolled through town awhile back and I happened to be on a session and he made them look pretty cool
