Dude, they are selling Jason Lee airwalks in Japan RN, was actually super stoked about it till I saw the $300 price tag. Now I'm just bummed on the whole thing cause I'm sure the construction is probably garbage, and they're definitely not worth it... But deep down I still want the motherfuckers. They are on eBay if interested. Man, some black ones with white laces would be a dream come true for me. always wanted a pair, never been possible till now.
My best friend was back in Japan for work so I ordered some and got them shipped to our homie's place where he was staying.
The quality is really good on them. The sole is nice and soft and gummy like you would expect. Surprisingly good insole too. Mine were around $175 CDN which was still a little pricey for me. Most of the sites they have them on don't ship overseas but you can use a proxy, or one of the sites will ship overseas. I forget which one, someone let me know. I could figure it out if anyone is interested. Shipping would be expensive but they'll be cheaper than $300 for sure. You definitely would need someone who knows Japanese to navigate the websites though.
They fit a little roomy, I think I would have preferred a half size down. My main gripe with them is that the toe is a little too high, kind of boot-shaped and it's kinda rigid. Makes them a little less wearable to me as I was going to wear these tons.
I have an OG pair of the white/gum so definitely can tell the difference in shape between the reissues and the OGs.
They also did a proper Enigma and if had the money I would have bought two of both, one to chill and one to skate.
