Bc they’re probably the new ones and he’s not leaking them yet (though he doesn’t do a good job of keeping them censored. You can see the shoe at a few points)

I've had great feedback about the Currens and personally speaking they look like a slightly more paneled Era in real life. The extra structure will add some longevity to a shoe that has anything but.

Do you know how that affects lace ripping? I’d imagine with it sticking out less with no eyelets it might rip less. I am ripping my heelside lace with annoying frequency on the red currens

I guess maybe I'm just fucking stupid but as someone that never liked Lakai at all I actually think the new colorways they're doing look nice. Not something I'd ever buy, but I'm curious as to whether they've changed anything production-wise when new owners took over or if that shit is just kinda grandfathered over and built the same?

I think Lakai needed a refresh, and cutting all crailtap association was honestly the best way to do it... just not like this. They have put out some nice coloryways, but as I've mentioned before I'm a sucker for pink and teal.

Payload is a horrible name for a shoe. Dudes just wanted a shoe brand and didn't want to do the ground work.
