where are yall seeing the cole stuff? the team listing at the end doesn't include his name, he isn't in any of the photos and his old shoe (trooper) had his name removed and they're selling it as a team model now. did they edit the catalog or something?

Fell of the radar but saw the new TJ shoe finally drops tomorrow. Haven’t bought any skate shoes in awhile but this caught my eye.

This shoe will do well with ex felons because it looks like something you'd wrap duct tape around and fuck.

That said, I might buy a pair to skate in.

Man,the dern shoe for me is the weakest. I agree with that whole catalog is inoffensive, but its mostly old shoe designs anyway. The midtop is cool, but honestly, any brand drops that Jordan silhouette and I'd give it a double-take.

The Dern shoes just give me Macbeth shoes vibes

I'm from the Tony Hawk Pro Skater generation bro, so maybe 5ish years younger than you. I didn't know what a skate shoe was until like 2002. I did find this image on google.


I stand by my comment, sureshock is the best DVS shoe, at least from what I can remember. I think these vintage shoes are better than the DVS shoes from my childhood. DVS, for me, was always the ugly shoe company that had Daewon and a motocross team.

I looked at some old catalogs, and I admit that there are some gems in the DVS library I overlooked. I mostly associate them with shoes like the Militia and Revival. I started skating in the summer 2001, at 11 years old. By the time I was old enough to give a shit, I feel like DVS's best days were probably already behind them. I did have the daewon 9s, but I  bought them off the Daewon name not the DVS brand. Still think the Sureshock is one of their better shoes, especially in modern history.
