Good on him for trying something. Wild he got away with meeting production minimums at only 100 pairs. It does look like the Puma sole, so I'm assuming he was able to find one of those factories that offer bootleg or unbranded and you can change the branding of the plug in the middle. Small brands like Proper made their own soles and they had to order so much to meet those minimums that they were sitting on stock for years. I don't know how Eraone footwear did it with their small runs and custom sole design.

I like the venting on the medial side... but I would have gone with only 2 stripes to avoid conflict with a certain brand haha. They use it on the inside or toe like that on soccer boots and basketball shoes.

Looking at his IG, he participated in that shoe design course that Josh Brubaker offered to a few people & I believe part of that program involved getting set up with the factory he works with for Filmsuede.

suprised no one has posted the Lakai Conrads yet. its the lo-cut version of the huf classic/pf flyer rip-off and has been out for like 2 months. I got an all black pair and they are more supportive/sturdy + skate better than my huf classics. i'm hoping that people buy these so that Lakai follows through on releasing the high top version, but it is looking like no one cares lol

Damn, I will definitely get those mesh ones as chillers since I missed out on the Lucas Premier Primeknits. I’m on the fence about those rubber toecap ones, but will probably give them a shot at some point. They aren’t pleasing to me visually but I care more about longevity since I’ve been skating more flatground lately.

Y’all remember that WC where Nike had the different themed Gatos and I think they released jerseys too?

I like the bounce but I get it. I bought the all blacks and have the sunrise that I wear to walk around in and wanted more pairs to skate but they collapsed before I could get the all white, all blue, all pink ones that I wanted. So thanks for reminding me here so I could pick up a few more.
