Well, have you tried actually singing? You can't tell just from talking because that has nothing to do with your ability to identify and keep pitch. If you know any musicians, sing for them and ask their opinion.

Obviously the answer is yes.

Cat's and dogs are too genetically dissimilar to mate successfully; you would almost never find a cat and a dog getting it on the wild anyway due to different mating patterns. Hybridization can only occur between animals of the same species or at least of the same order, and even this has only been achieved artificially as far as I know.
