like i know its for display purposes but what about when someone is skating?
then the graphic is upside down and looks dumb.

Is a fish able to percieve anything beyond the surface of the water?

If we inherit physical traits from past family members, do we then inherit psychological (ie memories) from our relatives?

probably nothing beyond predispositions to psychological/intelligence based traits, but memories are stored in neurons, and would have no conceivable way for that information to be transported down to the gamete producing cells in the nads

What happens if you take supplements for muscle growth if you skate on a daily basis? Like protein powder, creatine, amino acids and shit.

I feel ya. It's all for display purposes, as you said (and potentially some tricks, I guess).

Ventures were always upside down for display models, but I guess their logo changed over the past couple years.

If you're only skating, most/all the muscle mass gain is happening in the legs.
You won't necessarily "bulk up."  The protein helps the muscle recover better as far as I know.
You'll probably see more strength and tone in the muscle you use for skating.

But at the end of the day, I don't really believe in taking that purified protein crap.

Yeah, the main purpose of supplements like that is to bulk up I guess.

Hm, yeah.. It's true that you do use your legs a lot while skating, but don't you think that you also could develop core strenght like a motherfucker if you do use supplements like that? I often get sore in my lower back and abdominals to when I skate, so you might gain some mass in those areas to.

I can see why you dont believe in protein supplements, and if you're getting enough protein through your diet, there's no point in taking them. But creatin on the other hand is different. It actually makes you stronger and increases your stamina a bit. As far as I know, creatine is the only supplement besides steroids that actually has documented effects. Probably won't make you a better skateboarder though..

Supplements should only really be taken if you have a deficiency or something
I feel like drinking purified protein is like lying to yourself.  It just seems very emasculating to take it rather than achieving things on your own.  For instance, I know of this anabolic supplement called 'rage' that people take and apparently it's a crazy stimulant that helps body builders endure pain better.  I don't give a shit about body building either way, but if the whole point of body building is to become stronger, then what's the point if you're dependent on steroid type shit in order to achieve your goals?

By the way I think creatine shrinks your balls, but I'm not sure and I'm too lazy to google it haha

The expansion of the universe is still occurring as a result of the Big Bang so we are essentially just a very complex and extended explosion

The root "gas" has a meaning which doesn't necessarily mean gaseous in general, but a specific type of gas, one that can be burnt as fuel. The suffix "ole" refers to any oil-based form, and "ine" noting a further distinction among hydrocarbons. So that's how we got the word gasoline, and over time it was shortened to just gas.

Probably not. I'm sure that is one of the only things that ghosts have to look forward to anymore.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Is the 'dark flow' that is observed in the centaurus region of space the gravity  of another universe affecting ours, like two bubbles touching.  If so, could this pull of gravity from outside our own observable universe be related to the sudden expansion speculated after the big bang?

...to guarantee a fun-filled sleepover party? Not enough, most likely.

Some skate-related things I was wondering about are:

Where did Vicky go?

Does anyone actually do Indy nosebones, or is that a trick relegated to video games and punk rock posters?

If a kid riding his board down the street got attacked, how many pros would stop to help him if they were driving by themselves?

Does Ari Marcopoulos still take skate photos?

What would Bukowski have thought about skating? I can't recall him mentioning it anywhere.

Probably A Robot
