Levon Helm music documentary "Ain't in it for my health" is pretty good. There's a Jimi Hendrix movie on there I'm about to watch right now too.

i hate how everyone says scrubs was ruined because of the last season, i honestly thought it was just as good as the other seasons.......

Anybody watched the new season of Archer that just got added on? i watched two episodes and the picture just stops, like the audio is still good but the picture just freezes every like minute. Its not my internet because other shows work fine. Just wondering if anyone else is having that problem with Archer season 5

i watched em all somewheres else on the comp but 'the bridge' was awesome. alas, it got shitcanned after 2 seasons [but you motherfuckers keep damn family feud on for decades] so it's only 26 episodes.
season 2 is about cops on the juarez/el paso border, a cartel boss, an american coyote who rescues mexican women, this wicked attractive shunned mormon who kills like nothing and carries a ledger everywhere in order to cook the books for the cartel. she is played by the gal from 'run lola run' which i haven't seen in 15 yrs but i remember liking it.
oh, fuckin ted levine from 'bullet' and 'silence of the lambs' is on there too, he's the older boss cop. i told my friend that and he tuck his dick in his legs and goes 'i'd arrest me so hard' but for honest ted levine plays it pretty straight.
whoever hasn't seen 'bullet' w/ him and mickey rourke, one of the best 90s movies.

90% of the suggestions in here are complete garbage. You guys are really suggesting TBS sitcoms at "stuff that doesn't suck"?

Anyway, I just re-watched Ravenous for the first time in years. It's really, really good. Go watch it.

Lets get this thread back on track. I would love to come in here and have a decent suggestion, not someone telling me to go watch "Everybody loves Ray Ramano" or whatever.

Netflix has single handedly gotten me back into Malcolm in the Middle. I remember watching it a lot when I was younger but I didn't really remember the episodes too well. Started binge watching it a few nights back and it's such a good show. Not sure if anyone else here digs it as much as I do, but seeing as how I grew up in a similar pretty dysfunctional family (granted, nowhere near as bad as Malcolms family), a lot of the jokes and plots for episodes are really easy to relate to.

Yea I binge watched all 13 hours in 3 days after work...it was that good. I would suggest giving it a shot for 1-2 episodes and see if you are into it. Its a drama, but also has a little gritty feel to it like True Detective or something.

Anyone checked out Chef's Table - it's shot by David Gelb (Jiro Dreams of Sushi) - some of it's pretty interesting if you're into food or high end restaurants etc. The Dan Barber episode was really interesting, he's got a good perspective on food as a whole.

"The world made straight" is an awesome movie as well. Kind of a gritty drama set in the NC mountains, weed farmers, drug dealers mixed with civil war history. Plus Minka Kelly who, although she plays a junkie in this, is incredibly hot. Amazing performances by the entire cast.
