Sale Gear Thread
« on: February 15, 2012, 12:25:30 PM »
This was proposed a while ago and never brought to fruition. So. Post sale gear, shoes, decks, trucks, wheels, beanies, shirts, dildos, etc. in here. I know we all hunt for bargains on skate stuff. Coupon codes are welcome!

Cheap shoes usually. Free shipping.
http://www.6pm.com/

Skate Warehouse has a good sale section
http://www.skatewarehouse.com/catoverview.html?ccode=SALE

Free shipping code on Liberty is "norm" when you checkout.

This place has a pretty big selection, but be wary. Some of this shit is a couple of years old

damn good shit that 6pm site had those supra avengers in my size for $36. might have to cop a pair with my next check. i recently got some skytop 3's for $75 at urbanoutfitters.com but i dunno if they still gon have those on sale by the time someone reads this. ive noticed that alot of the best "on sale" shit is from websites that arent even skate-related.

This site can be pretty helpful depending on the shoe, you can search a shoe and it looks it up in multiple sites and you can sort by price and sizes available.

Got too busy and forgot to make this thread.  But thanks for making it.

This thread is for finding good deals online. Not selling, that belongs in the classifieds section!

Feel free to add deals that you find online.

Always good deals here:

Tactics and The House. The House doesn't have much of a selection and a lot of the shoes are ugly but there are some gems in there.

So true... hit up your local shop first to see what they've got in the sale bin.

Here's one from Quebec City. Deck's almost never go on sale, but they always have cheap trucks, wheels, clothes and some shoes are currently on sale for 25$. Shipping+Tax is usually around 12$ and yes. It's skater-owned.

Unfortunately. Don't have one. The closest thing I ever had to a local shop was when I was in college in Chicago I went to Uprise all the time.

Here's an invite code to PLNDR. It's Karmaloop's sale site, basically. Most of it is just clothes/accessories/lifestyle shoes, but lately they've been having good sales on Gravis, DVS, Emerica, and Supra. I'd say it's worth checking out.

Look I'm not selling anything that doesn't have my jizz on it. I don't care how much is offered.

my local shop doesnt sell any shoes that i like, ESPECIALLY in the sale bin. i buy decks & other hard goods there but i'd rather buy shoes that are cheaper & cater more to my own taste

Haha, yeah I went to one site through that gearbuyer.com and their best offer for shipping for a $30 pair of shoes was $102.

So I'm still contemplating on those ones....

cause a lot of people ask me about international shipping. from USA to XYZ.. including canada.
and most people think i'm trying to charge them to much.

do you guys not in the USA ever go online and check how much it actually costs to ship stuff you guys?
its expensive. if you think its to much you can set up an account with UPS or fedex.. then have the company bill your account.
though its still gonna be expensive. there is no cheap international shipping anymore.

Of course shipping costs money, and the greater the distance the greater the cost. Living in Europe the shipping costs from the states might seems really high at first, but also the rates vary very much from shop to shop. So even if it's probably never "cheap" to ship from US to Europe, it can be "expensive" or "less expensive".

The shipping costs matter also because you have to pay tax on them as well if your package ends up in customs. I'm still very grateful for you sending me a board for the Japan relief with free shipping even though you must have took a hit for that, but even you have to admit that $100 shipping for a $30 pair of shoes is a bit fucked.
