Oh, I definitely ran up. It’s kinda a hazy memory. To be honest I don’t know if I got four on or if it was more wallride-nollie to fakie, but either way it was definitely a case of not knowing you had it like that until you don’t have it like that anymore… cause there’s no way I could do it in the 2-5 tries I could get before getting kicked out nowadays. Not that I recall it being like amazing or anything.

I can’t remember why we didn’t film it, because we were in town to skate… I think I thought I would be able to take my time a little more or homie wasn’t ready or something.

None of the sales seem good. It’s the same stuff they run all year. Like 20-25% off is standard.

Or like the Darkroom clearance sale, prices look like a steal but the shipping fee is so high it more or less erases the discount.

Where did you find them for $12? 303 skate shop had them around $26 a pair after the 33% discount.

The Mid Hollow Forged got me itching, 50.5mm height is very rare for anything above 139 (Ace AF1 Low). Then I think back to Black Friday 2023 where I bought a pair of Indy 149 Titanium and Mids so I didn't want to deal with IKPs. Abandoned those plans the moment they arrived and stuck to Ventures.

Yeah, anyone reading this thread over the last year should realize that the heady days of COVID overstock sales are mostly over. Smart and successful retailers are not sitting on the same massive pile of inventory as they were at this time twelve months ago - they liquidated that shit. Sales seem to reflect that.

The good news is that basically everyone here has enough accumulated skate shit to last them at least a year. I’m proud to say that I have significantly less accumulated junk than I had at this time in 2022 and I intend to keep it that way.
