I'll be surprised if Simmons doesn't retire
Thought he said he wasn't retiring? Can't believe he never developed a jump shot.

He just said "no" but I thought that was a media play honestly. Didn't want to set off the storm basically

Lol, harsh but true.

In other news: van fleet out with torn acl. Sucks because rockets looked (and maybe still do) like a fun team to watch

@devils acrobat record without him is 11-11 or something and much higher/better with him on the court... huge bummer. Having KD helps immensely now tho...

Silver lining is its Reed Sheppard time possibly. See what he can do as a starter. Or Amen..

I am not high on reed but lets see. Amen on the other side could explode this season.

Also curious about who will bring up the ball for the wolves this season. Ant and randle while playing donte and dillingham at the 2?

I'm not either, but it's between him, Aaron holiday and amen lol. Used a high pick on him might as well see what he can do with added duties. At least most attention will be towards KD and Sengun, so maybe he can sharpen his playmaking. Just trying to be glass half full.

I’m excited about every Knicks season, even when they were the joke of the league, but I don’t think I’ve been this excited for the Knicks as I am this season.

I really think they can win the chip this year.

Why would people who are in the NBA at that level even think about getting involved in stuff like that?

This whole thing is wild. Going to be interesting to see how it plays out!
There was an interview with TK, when he was a plumber. He got asked if he gets recognized on the job and his response was "No. Plumbin in disguise." Everyone on SLAP thought he said "put him in the sky"

I meant if you’re already rich… admittedly that doesn’t keep people from wanting more it seems. But man if you’ve made it to head coach of an nba team… baffling.

Timing is pretty fucked.   Wonder how long they delayed arrests to make a splash for th opening of the season.   If I were Portland I’d be pissed to not have a chance to do an actual coach search if so

I always feel like gambling or other addictions have a different lane from normal activities. Even from the news I saw, in total the gambling ring got $10m. You divide that up to everyone, that is like no kind of money to athletes or coaches that get paid good money just from the league. And then you wonder how long has this been going on and if there is more stuff like this out there.

Seems like a deep rabbit hole.... guess we'll have to wait and see. This feels like it's far from over.

Bit bummed on Chauncey... always liked watching him play. Esp that 03-04 pistons run...

And it sucks for Wemby. Puts up literal video game numbers in an opener only to have to shadowed by this.

Anyone notice how many free throws these guys are taking with the new contract rule?

AR scoring 51 points is amazing but 22 points from free throws?

SGA 26 free throw attempts against Indiana.
