Hawks fan here.  I think a lot of us are just happy to be here this year we are ahead of schedule.  Not afraid of the Knicks at all because 1.  they are overrated 2. Atlanta is playing with house money, nothing to lose.  Either team is getting beat next round.
[close]
You are correct and your team is really good, finished the regular season hotter than just about anyone but the Spurs, that was impressive.

Also you are right to not be scared of the Knicks, they are definitely overrated and they are incredibly inconsistent.

You are also probably right that whoever wins this series will lose next round.
Knicks took out Boston last year but the C’s are looking much stronger this time and yeah I don’t like the Knicks chances there this time but who the hell knows.

That being said I hate your fucking team like I hate the Celtics, the Sixers, the Bulls, Pacers, the Heat and anyone else New York has had a tough time against in the playoffs over the years and I would wish you luck going forward because I really hope it’s going to be an exciting series the rest of the way and I definitely respect Quin Snyder as a coach but FUUUUUUUCK YOU GUYS this is war!

Seriously though that was a crazy game yesterday and I hope the rest of the series is as exciting to watch, may the best team win, blah blah blah and all that.
[close]
I think that this year is the chance for the Knicks to beat ATL, because I don't think they will next year.  Hawks are just now starting to click and we have good draft picks coming up they are going to be scarier next season.  If we get someone to help us deal with bigs then the Knicks are fucked.  We are younger faster and way better coached.

I hope we win but I don't even hate you guys really, my real true hate is reserved for the Celtics and all New England teams fuck every single one in every sport.

Happy to see CJ McCollum balling out at 35. He deserved better than to spend the end of his prime on the Pelicans and Wizards.

Ahahahaha Sixers just took home court away from Boston, Brown and Tatum combined for 55 points but too much Edgecombe and Maxey who combined for 59.

I love to see it but it’s unfortunately not going to be enough most likely in this series, Celtics probably in 5 or 6 but this has been a wild season and the next two games are in Philly.

Too bad Embiid is not involved, he’s a big softy but he’s been known to go off and it would have been cool to see them at full strength.

Excuse me, what?

Definitely not feeling as bad about the Knickerbockers after tonight's games as I did yesterday. Turns out throwing games against lesser opponents is just all the rage right now.

Postseason is shaping up very nicely, now if Phoenix can get its act together to steal at least a couple of games…

This! So much this!

Blowing a big lead late is so hot right now.
I also feel less shitty about yesterday’s Knicks collapse, I mean if the Spurs can do it then no team is safe.

What’s next? OKC lets the Suns back in the series?
I’d really like to see Orlando keep it going against Detroit, fingers crossed.

Hold on, if she's 23 now that means this incident happened in 2018 or 2019, when George wasn't even on the Pacers anymore. What am I missing?

Dude, I feel for you, what a letdown. Some crazy wins yesterday, did not expect the 76ers steal one in boston.

Knicks are not all that better than their "lesser opponent."  And Magic City flu is real.

I appreciate your homerism, but I guarantee you the Knicks don't need to go to Magic City to choke away a playoff series. They know how to do that on their own just fine.

This really has been a terrible first quarter of the 21st century for New York sports

Well I guess the Giants had two great wons against the Pats

But for Yankees this is way sub par, and Mets look lost, Jets are the Jets, and the Knicks are never going to win anything

Wow all I have to say is wow and fuck.
Knicks played like ass the entire game and then finally decided to get their shit together and after being down by like 15 they found themselves up by 3 with like a minute left.
Anyway CJ happened, Kuminga happened, the Hawks defense is incredible and they completely nullified the Knicks last possession with 12 seconds left and down by one, Brunson got completely flummoxed and they couldn’t even get a shot attempt off.

Too many turnovers and the fact that Bridges and Hart combined for 2 fucking points really hurt.
Also like I said the Hawks defense is absolutely stifling.
What a fucking game though, AGAIN.
Teams that go up 2-1 are winning 7 game series 75 percent of the time.

Knicks gotta find a way to make it happen Saturday and get the home court back and make it a best 2 out of 3 or they are completely fucked.

Getting cooked by 78 year-old CJ McCollum definitely wasn't on my bingo card for this series. Yeah, the Knicks absolutely deserve to lose if they can't even figure out how to stop a post-prime small guard. Mike Brown is getting outcoached very, very badly. Brunson refusing to involve anyone but Hart when the game is on the line is also flat out unacceptable. No fun being a Knick fan right now, but luckily I'm used to that feeling.

In other news, Denver isn't looking too hot right now either. We might be looking at both 3 seeds existing early this year.

^^ Insane to see that they dont involve kat more on offense, would drive me mad as a knicks fan. But happy for hawks, they are scrappy.

And damn, jaden mf mcdaniels owned up to his spicy take after game 2. Wolves just wanted it so much more in game 3 it seemed and nuggets look gassed and out of answers. Not having watson and gordon sucks obviously. That said, and being a wolves fan for years, i know that the mood can swing back to zero if they loose the next game and then it is 2-2.

I want to be excited, but it just kinda feels like winning gets you the honor of being eliminated by the Thunder.   They’re going to sweep their series too which doesn’t give us any extra days to get Luka or Reeves back k

BODEGA KAT! Fucked around and got a triple double.
20/10/10 it’s about time he balled out they way he should be.
Knicks defense was incredible and that was much needed.
Now it’s a best 2 out of 3 and 2 are in NY if it goes 7, this series has it all, it’s a slugfest and I know Atlanta gonna be ready and up for game 5, hopefully the Knicks can ride this momentum and keep consistency.
