This wheel feels so stable and fast on every terrain

60 feels a little clunkier than I would like, and also the size combined with radial full shape feel like shit on feeble grinds. I went to another setup with slightly wider trucks and small classics full wheels and feebles were so laughably easy.

Getting speed, holding speed, going through crust, rolling over stuff, locking into grinds... There's tons of stuff that's unquestionably easier on bigger wheels. Then there's also a bunch of stuff that may be easier or harder depending on the individual, like the potential for higher ollies and more pop in general. So, no, big wheels don't make everything so much harder.

Speaking of big wheels: There's an ad for 93 radial fulls out, they are gonna be a Bannerot pro model. I'm sure it's on socials somewhere but I'm not on those platforms, maybe someone else can link to it. Soft formula and wide riding surface, looks like my prayers have been answered.

Then there's also a bunch of stuff that may be easier or harder depending on the individual, like the potential for higher ollies and more pop in general. Yeah, I should've put something like "in most cases" in there. I realize that smaller wheels accelerate faster, but I don't think many people skate such tight spots that they can't get 2 good pushes in before popping.

They accelerate faster but also decelerate faster. Bigger wheels hold the speed better once you get them going.

Looks like they're coming out in 58mm. I didn't see that part when I first saw the ad, kind of a bummer for me personally since I prefer wide wheels with smaller diameters. 56 is the biggest I can reasonably ride on a setup that I'll be popping and flipping on.
Maybe they'll offer a smaller version too, it wouldn't be the first time that they come out with different sizes without advertising it explicitly. A 54mm 93 radial full would tickle my fancy very much.

just to add to the huge wheel thing - it is really just that 1 grind that felt harder for me (but still possible). flip tricks are a little slow but i can still land the ones i need to start a line or boost off a jump / down a drop. probably not a setup you want to practice gazelle flips on.

I think the ideal size of wheel for me is around 54-56mm, seems to be really good spot for me as far as landing good tricks. i am not that concerned with that though. its fun to skate in your neighbourhood place to place when your board is really fast like that and can handle crust easily.

these will last forever and eventually be small as well. was thinking if they are way too wide proportionally once they are down to 55mm, i can just reshape thme with the grinder and then i will have brand new classics again so its like 2 wheels for the price of one (re shape em again at 50mm for a 3rd even lmao)

tablets suck, and are hideous.
actually maybe i just don’t like how they look.
i have been skating 56 radial fills, but that’s a bit much. getting back down to worn in 54 classics/52 lock-in’s/52 conical fulls

I also have a couple of sets of the 54 mm Radial Full wheels on boards, mainly the 8.75 with 159s and those wheels, because they look proportional to me, one set in 97 duro, another in 99 duro.  They just seem to work nicely for a little bit bigger and wider wheel without things looking crazy big all round.

dudes i rotated my 56mm radail 93a  liek CRAZY and i still ended up with 1 bigger than the rest. gonna do my first experiemnt making those into classics and taking some material off the top of that bigger wheel to even em out

The site registers you're in Europe and shows you the price accordingly. It's what a set of F4s costs in the US, just converted to Euros (and rounded to make it a more normal-looking price). Of course, if you bought the set you'd have to pay shipping plus import tax, so it's not quite as appealing as it seems at first.

Me too. Stupid pet peeve but can't stand really dirty looking wheels. Wish I liked the OG classic shape more, the recessed sidecut with a graphic that doesnt wear off and small lip makes it stay clean much longer. But its just a bit too square for my liking usually
