Not as familiar cuz never been into harms way much. For chicago stuff weekend nachos has always been way more up my alley

that and I think I’ve seen every band Colin has been in circumstantially having grown up going to shows in the socal area

Ah man. Brings back memories…i remember finding Imprisoned on a music tumblr? Back in the day. It also said “militant Mondays” was apparently about the band waiting outside bars to beat up drunks lmao. I think the band debunked that though…

Got to see Harms Way and Ringworm in 2018… might be my favorite show I’ve ever been to.

Not much of a self promo guy, but the hardcore thread is always the first one I check on here, so wanted to share. Played a gig in Columbus last Wednesday that was truly one of the coolest experiences of my life. Attached a link for that and our demo below. New music coming sometime very soon. Much love Slap.

So incredibly proud of Prinzy and waydown. Just absolutely crushing shit and putting cincy hardcore on the map. Big fan of what they’re doing, regardless of good homie status.

I got some new merch and I have a thing of when I get new merch I will listen to the bands whose shirts I got a shit ton and that’s always fun. So here’s what’s been on repeat lately.

Anyone able to confirm this? I remember years ago reading about how Poison Idea would plan their tours, hitting cities that this band had recently hit in hopes of snagging a 7 inch of what they called perfect hardcore. They'd hit every record store in town, assuming that they had sold a bunch of copies somewhere to get gas money to continue the tour. I want to say this was the record they were searching for, but I seriously cannot find shit about this online anymore.

I read that too, it might have been in a zine somewhere or maybe a podcast interview with Jerry A. What I remember is that pig champion was fucking obsessed with that record. You were correct it is vengeance/in this town. Tesco Vee from the meatmen was running touch and go (obvi) and was really impressed so he released it as a promo/ep. I know the best part of record collecting is a hunt, but I’m fucking positive they played with negative approach and the necros, as to why they didn’t just hit up tesco for a few copies of it is beyond me though hahah.
