hard to believe this is true, but i guess all careers have to end at some point (braydon, lanoce)
spanky & dollin must be stressing....hopefully dustin comes thru with a face melter of a vans part and re-instates his position and starts releasing pro shoes again,

Dustin has shown that he can still huck it. I'm sure he wont let us down.

That Kicky crooks for his Baker three ender is permanently etched into my brain, I don't think I could handle him being dumped.

dollins last part was in shake junt and it closed the video- he s had 10+ parts already. it s not like he s not gonna film another one all of a sudden. he s always been a footage machine.

Is Reynolds taking classes from JT in cut-throat industry power-moves 101? Something needed to be done about the fact Heyl probably makes more coin than many established pro's.

Is Braydon on heroin? Not the board brand but like literal heroin? I don't know anybody that dresses like that dude other than people who like to shoot up.

But whoever said that the baker ams are nowhere as good you are definitely right. I think it was some skateboard mag article about like Terry, Herman and Spanky with Terry throwing bottles and shit. I don't really remember but Baker before deathwish had the best team in skateboarding. I remember that Spanky was better than Herman before all his surgery and shit.

Baker is still so fucking good though and you think that if Volume 4 is a board brand then they'd be spreading themselves pretty thin - losing Baca and Nuge.

But if The Boss, Herman and Figgy are still all on the same team then you can't really go wrong.

AH FUCK THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT GOT TO ME ASWELL.

makes sense. they definitely have a solid am/flow lineup right now with dee, cyril, riley, rowan zorilla, mike white etc. it would be pretty hard to be able to suppourt as many dudes as they were/are. i am interested to see what vol. 4 is gonna be like.

To me it seems like this is actually the most boring group of amateurs Baker has ever had.

Seriously, I couldnt care less about these kids. I guess Dee and Riley are alright but the rest are meh.. The Baker team is one of my favorite teams in skateboarding but this takes away alot of it. The whole thing with Baker is that no one on there has even  been that vanilla...  If this is true, damn it must suck for braydon too. First emerica and now this.

I hope Sza and Lenoce are still on Baker, or do their own deal.
As far as Shane Heyl is concerned, well I just don't care about him. At least Supra won't sponsor him.
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

Dee is wack, but Riley just alright? Kid's a beast, one of the best ams in all of skateboarding. Give him 5 years and he'll be one of the best pro's out there.

I'm pretty sure the heyl board was a one time deal and he took it wrong so Reynolds was like "ahh, fuck it he can stay on for a while."

That sounds like some Curb Your Enthusiasm shit hahaha.

Haha damn yeah it does.

Bummed for Brayden, bummed on Lenoce, and don't give a fuck about Heyl.

Yup bummer for them, no doubt they can get some industry jobs.

Ran into Sammy at the local park a lil while back. I asked him what the deal with Vol 4 is, and he told me it's just going to be an apparel/accessories company, they aren't making boards.
That would suck if them getting kicked off is true, but for some reason I doubt it's true.

Never really cared about/for Baker but Sza and Lenoce are both guys I wouldn't have thought they would drop. Making room for fresh blood? Sza going to the retirement company with Dill and AVE

In dire need of cutting their budget, Baker Skateboards has dropped longtime riders Braydon Szafranksi and Jeff Lenoce and pro-rank newcomer Shane Heyl from their pro team.

Expect this trend to continue as teams look to trim the fat off their teams and cutting loose riders who aren't pulling their weight coverage-wise.

Why did you leave out Spanky? He is also off the team.
Spanky off baker is a fucking crime

Always funny when people start speculating why a rumor is/isn't true like they have some insight into the daily operations of a skateboard company.
They may or may not be off, people come and go. Unless you live in LA and see those guys around regularly, you have no clue what anyone is up to.

aha finally someone said it. & I'd never bring this up if the topic wasn't baker team cuts.

Why is every clip I ever see from TK have the words "warm-up" in it, how is it possible to warm up when your not putting out parts, and producing little to no web content.

I know a lot people are siked on him and the dudes talented, but it's kinda sad to see the same tricks from him over and over again from someone who got their career from being "next level" like three year into skating.

Dude seems to have plateaued out IMO, feel free to prove me wrong maybe I just have missed his stuff in mags or whatever. That baker trash compactor edit was the first I saw from him in a while.

He's getting a pro paycheck (?), don't fake the funk and pretend to be caught up with rapping when you're getting paid to skateboard.  Would fit well on ice cream (if that's even a board company?).

Well he's not bad. He isn't top notch I'm not a huge tk fan myself but he gets better each part he puts out and always has a good amount of footage. There Are pros that do a lot less than he does and have been skating since the early 90s
