Bravo.

Good for him. That's rad that Baker hooking him up with a job. Depending on things, that career could be longer than his pro one. The worst is skaters having to do dead end jobs cause they never got a higher education or the hook up to do something else.

[close]like working in the warehouse of the company you used to be pro for?!?!? I love Lenoce, but don't make it like they're doing him any favors or setting him up for a career outside of skating.

[close]I doubt hes getting the salary that he was use to when he was pro and had all his sponsors. I do think it was good of them to possibly offer some kind of job while going to school and still being involved with baker somehow. I find it incredibly sad sometimes when washed up pro's in their early to mid 30's are forced to get their lives together similar to kids 18-19 fresh out of high school, working a part time and going to college, your talking about 10 to 15 year gap there. Its worse when none of them had a back up plan and they had the money to do so but instead wasted it on drugs or the lifestyle. Best of luck to all of them.

Most people don't have any moment in their life where they'd be able to do anything similar. So I don't feel sad at all for somebody who has to get their first real job at the age of 35.

I don't know if there's a more appropriate place to put this so I'll just leave it here. Dropping these guys definitely frees up some money on the payroll. Perhaps some of that will be going to Rowan soon?
I;m sure i;m not the only dc/monster/subaru type guy here
