I got really excited for the video after reading that interview. I'm glad the dudes that were hungry to skate and film are going to get the spotlight instead of them pushing some people just because who they are. I think people would change their tune if it wasn't a "supreme" video.

Ethan's TF part is still my all time favorite and has been since I was 15. A clumsily shot tour-de-force of style with a self done soundtrack. Doesn't get more raw than that

You gotta do a kickflip to be allowed into the premier.

I still have my flyer for the Tin Can Folklore premier, it was held in a bar with maybe 40 folks there, we where all pissed that Jason Lee didn't have a new part. Matt Rod's part is my favorite, but all the parts are amazing.

Crazy how Matt Rod hasn't really aged since that video at all. He's still ripping exactly the same way

the only reason i can think of to put a split screen of skateboarders doing a trick at the exact same time is so it requires you to watch it over and over again thus that video getting more views? its the dumbest concept ive ever seen in my life i had to sit through that shit song 7 times to watch every clip and for any shitprick that says turn your speakers off i like hearing the sound of skating

before "getting more views" existed. It was alright then, and its alright now.

Strobeck has a specific aesthetic sensibility, and he's incorporated this split screen technique in his past work. So no surprises here. Doesn't seem like the type of dude that would care about "views."

He had recently started working for Supreme, and was wondering what everyone else has always thought: ?Why has Supreme never done a video??

Is "A Love Supreme" by Thomas Cambell not considered the first Supreme video?

Black & white footage, Gonz, wallies, NYC weirdos, etc. Could use the same description for "Cherry".

Check his Instagram. He's in Australia filming with Federico Vitetta (Girl/Choc filmer) as we speak. Riding Choc board too.
