Whats the consensus on OJ' 101/95a double duro's?
I would have to go looking, but I believe a few people posted pics of nice big flat spots on their wheels, or were done with them pretty quickly.
@yourbreakfsat might have had the best pic of it.
This continues to be crazy to me. When companies put new stuff out, doesn't anybody skate it first? Isn't there a whole damn R&D department whose job it is to make sure that the wheels don't flatspot, or the truck pivot cup works, or the bearing cage doesn't break the first time you go over a gap?
Apparently not. I guess we're supposed to pay (at $50 bucks a set!!!) for the privilege of being the beta testers.
Just had a whole "I'm fascinated by weird wheels" thread, but it feels super different to say "has anyone tried cherries?" or "hey dialtone has a fun aesthetic," than it does to say "industry giant nhs just dropped highly touted new shit and it's...bad?"

(Edit: yeah I know these came out in 2023 but my point stands...)
