Orchard re-released some older graphics this week. I ordered a few shirts and a couple beer glasses. I’ve lived in California for over 5 years now, but I still consider them a local shop
Orchard is the best..and they just keep getting better.

Been waiting literally almost a year for these. I limited myself to 5 because I didn't want to completely clean the shop out but I might try to complete the set over time.

Haven't busted out the measuring tape and calipers so no deep dive nerd shit yet but a few initial observations -

- KT board is awesome and pictures don't do it justice.
- Evan Smith is a unique shape, almost symmetrical and very mellow
- seems like they did the "different mold for every graphic" thing again so should be something for everyone

Been feeling the cupsoles lately, couldn’t afford another pair of fastbreaks but found these for $20

Hopefully they skate well.

I’ve loved skating in pro leathers, hope that is your experience. Had a few pairs of the trash talk ones. Puleo, in his infms part in particular, made em look real great.

Only really dug into the 2 I bought to skate - Nicholson and Abair. They're not the exact same molds as last time but seem to be following the same general idea - so like the Nicholson is still mellow and the KT is still steep.

Nicholson:

8.25" x 31.6" 14.25wb

7" nose and 6.6"

Like I said it's still mellow but it's not basically just a toy machine this time... More like a quasi this time. Nice wide nose and tail, with very slight tapers on both ends, it's 8.12 at both trucks. I've skated a lot of similar decks so I'm virtually guaranteed to like this.

Abair:

8.25" x 31.75" 14.25"wb

7" nose 6.5" tail

Similar to the Nicholson but not as mellow. Also similar to the last drop but Abair but a little longer and the nose is a bit steeper. Tail is pretty much the same but the nose is significantly steeper and there's a little less fingers of flat. Slight taper to the tail - 8.12 at the back trucks but still 8.25 at the front. I think I'm going to skate this one first because I really like the graphic and it reminds me a little bit of a snack deck I had and really liked.

is this from the ps run?

edit: yes it is
what are the measurements of the others? figured there would be no 14.0s until pennswood is back in service

Locals don’t stock Scumco, but I’d like to try a steeper one if anyone has a tip about where one could mail order one

Radio skateshop is the owner of Scumco’s Skateshop. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind shipping one.

They actually didn't have a ton of them (most went out to other shops) so I think theyll probably keep them instore for the locals. Also I may have bought a third of their inventory.

This was a pretty big run though, so I'd imagine most shops that stock scumco will have a few. Keep an eye out this week, they just started shipping them to the shops on Monday so I'm guessing they'll start popping up soon.

@ballintoohard  If you want a steep one, the only steep one I got was the KT 8.25...its a little longer than the others and has a 14.5 wb so if youre cool with longer wb it might be a good one. I think one of the 8.25 is a short, square, and med-steep shape like the team board from the first run. A few months back Nick told me he's going to always keep it in the lineup because that's what he skates which is awesome since it was my favorite from the first run. If it's the same it'll be 8.25" x 31.5" 14.25 wb, but I don't know which graphic it is yet. If the pattern from the first run holds true then the steeper decks will be KT, Ty Beall, and a team board. If I figure out which one it is I'll let you know.

I'm going to post some pics of the Nicholson in the setup thread if anyone wants to see one of these set up.

Just picked up two pairs of these to skate in (buy 1 get 1 half off at the outlet). With shoegoo these have been my favorite lately. Would like to find something a lil more durable, but I don't really like a lot of rubber so I think I'm dreaming.

Honestly, the price for two is chill and I like the consistency of the same shoe. Might dabble with something else in the future.

They have these there which I have considered skating in. The pair I own now are just for chilling. Definitely want to own a second pair regardless. Might be too much rubber around the toe for me tho

Couple of pairs of older stock kingfoam insoles and some new laced that don’t feel as good a quality as the older models I stocked up on which is disappointing
