Sounds like it could have been defective or something. I’ve had a handful of krooked decks over the years and never had this type of thing happen. Maybe you got unlucky :/
I have had boards break early though and I always chalk it up to bad luck or it was defective .

Got some beautiful “gray day” Tiago 1010s and some Carbon Silo SCs for around $105 ! Can’t wait to chill like Tiago!

3 pairs of DC Kalis Vulc on clearance, 1 for me, 1 for my wife and 1 for a friend.

That brings my personal tally is 4 Vulcs (3 worn, 1 on ice) and 2 Kalis S. Damn it's a good shoe.

Bought an Element Flat Bar last night....They only cost 150 now. Trying to stay on my board more during the week days so figured if i can walk out front and skate it, ill skate alot more. Shalom

Wanted to try some ventures again, so I copped some v-lights (regular axel, hollow king pin, forged base). Wanted to grab some bones softs too, but the shop was out so I got some german copies of bones mediums. Also copped a cheap clip on fisheye for my phone.

I'm trying to slim down a little from the 9" Creature Stump I'm currently skating (and liking). If this is as snappy as the creature I think I'll have a winner. Any specific criticism on it, or just generally don't like it?

Browsed my local Craigslist equivalent and chanced upon this beauty.

Bootleg graphic still on the wheels, bearings haven't completely seized up. There are lots of scalpers who would have picked it for parts but I'm happy to have found the piece of history.

If I could find a Pete Eldridge Bootleg one my life would be complete.

I've been eyeing these shoes for a few weeks now. How you like them? Do they fit a bit more snug and stiff as halfcab pros? They look rad.

I'm skating them tomorrow so I'll probably have more to say then, but first impressions are okay. They're the only vans that didn't immediately shred my Achilles when I put them on the first time, and I'm excited to have a little bit of padding around the ankle, but they do feel narrow. I've never had half cabs, so I can't compare to them, but I have narrow feet and they still pinch a bit. The only thing that doesn't feel narrow is the toe box, but I'm coming from last resorts so anything is gonna feel like a clown shoe.

A set of Bones STF slims 103 duro. Had spitfire tablets before. Balancing grinds seemed harder with the spitfires and crooked grinds didn’t want to slide. Something about that square edge on the Tablets… or perhaps it’s all mental
