i just got a pair of the ace af1’s. first pair of ace’s, i’ve been riding only indy’s for over 10 years. i rode my friends board that had the original aces the other day and it felt like it turned a little better, i’ll put them on my cruiser board and if i like them better then i’ll probably make the switch on my popsicle as well.

Had to get this for the collection,  Will used to hit me up for links whenever videos leaked in the secret place.

Edit: I'm such a deal whore, I already have 40-50 pairs of skate shoes, but I found good deals on NB  wht/gum 1010 and maroon/gum 508, Vans  all black Walker 2 and  blk/gum AVE pro and adidas black leather Copa Nationale.
And a pair of Etnies Marana slip xlt Barney Page colorway.

I'm in sweden, everything except the walker 2's are from www.junkyard.com, the walkers from the vans website where they have/had 50% off with 10% extra.

More what I didn't get and I'm not happy .. but I got too wrapped up at work and missed on all 3 pairs of the new AAs. Does anyone know if the will be dropping in select shops?

My girl had Vu hold me my size since I missed the online drop. I got a keeper.

I wanted to nab a pair, but I have too many shoes I need to skate through first before I buy anymore.

Carpet company bucknaked blank deck 8.125 x 31.75 14.25 wb. The older I get the more I don’t care about graphics so this hit my sweet spot for under $55 shipped and a company I highly support.

Back in Europe so I had (you know that is not an option to not do it) to visit my beloved local shop and get a Xmas freshie.
SOVRN 8.3 x 31.75 x 14.1 (it was listed 14.25 but I asked for a measuring tape)
Socket (local brand) 1" Allen hardware and griptape.
Film 5.5 (finally, I was sting to try them)
F4 99 54mm classics
Mosaic super 0 bearings (cheap and they looked good)
And a Sour bag which was on sale.

I feel like you and carpet would have been better served by purchasing a T-shirt.

A Real deck and Miles griptape since Mob has been disappointing lately. I'll post how it skates after the deck razor tails to see how well it holds up compared to Mob.

Picked up some of the white and gum New Balance 508’s last week. I’ve been wearing them around breaking them in before skating them. I like them so far but can definitely see throwing some FP king foams in them eventually.

Got my half cabs in the mail today. Haven't skated a pair since they started the new skate kind. They look and feel great so far. I'll find out how good they really are when I skate them.

I liked them, went through two pairs. Needed something with more support, they really ramped in up at vans though with those new skate models, they are exceptional

I love the new skate ones. They skate so good if you ask me. I just started skating a new pair and I only retired my last pair because I felt like skating a new pair. Where as when I'd skate OG halfcabs (which I love) I would have gone through 3 pairs in the amount of time it took to do this to them. My opinion - they're tanks and skate great right out of the box.

Only complaint is that you might bust the back collar and after time it might mess with the heel lock a tiny bit, but in all reality these still skate really good and don't really need to be retired. It didn't really negatively impact my skating at all.

I just started skating the white pair with the black tongue this week and I don't think this will happen with them because that part is suede and because I'll be a little more conscious when slipping into my shoes. I do know it happened to a few other people I know skating the same pair. Either way, I'm going to keep buying pairs of the new skate half cabs over and over

Thanks for the replys pals. They look and feel alot better than the old pros with the ultracush insoles. I liked them but they just felt too gushy and floppy after a while. I'm looking forward to skating these new ones tho.

Real City blocks 8.5 deck, indy 149’s, spitfire 52mm formula 4 OG shape, Bones Super Swiss 6 ball bearings, black Jessup and shop hardware. The wheels are getting switched out for some Spitfire 54 formula 4 classics that are on  another setup I have.
