New shop a few towns over (Grand River Skate Shop) had a soft opening over Halloween - so checked them out and got a Domestics camo hat and some fkd bearings to try out. Really happy with the Uncle Freddy hat - now I gotta go skate some crusty spot.

Yeah I've been riding the 8.28 dlx shape but wanted a wider board this is perfect as pretty much same dims apart from width.
super keen to set it up. skateshop near me has a couple left so might have to go back and grab a couple

Gave away a barely used 9.25 couch and a long wb 9" popsicle at the park today, which makes me feel better about it.
But I still regret thinking I need to try out big/long boards for some reason. I gained absolutely nothing from it and wasted quite some time being worse at everything. No reason to go above 8.5 on transition for me, in decks and especially trucks.

Purchased 3 pairs in the last couple of months. Kails OG's , Lynx Zeros, and just grabbed a pair of the Kailynx from Theory boardshop.
I'll skate them all eventually...

Bought a set of 8.5” Tensor Maglights

[FUBAR]

1/8” risers for my cruiser/manhole ollie setup. Oh and two sets of 94a Indy bushings. The stock bushings on my new 8.75 Ventures w/ no risers wheelbite super hard w 52mm Keyframes…which stops me like I hit a rock. I don’t want to crank them all the way down to tighten them up, for a few reasons. Hopefully the harder bushings help.

The Sanbongi ADV is a cool fucking shoe.

How does it fit?

Campus ADV’s seem to run tts. Adidas sizing can be a little off though from personal experience. If you have a local shop that stocks them then I’d start there


Since I have little impulse control I’m back with another pair. Had to size up half a size for them to feel right. The leather is really nice on these

Yeah so the “flea market” was put together by Andrew allen, Jerry hsu, and some other people. Mike Gigliotti (of lotties) had two nighthammers plus a bunch of old antihero decks that used to be hanging at the shop. Had to stop myself from grabbing an old Julien deck and the lance mountain drawing of BA deck. The prints are by Anthony Acosta and Nuge was there with a bunch of supreme gear. Pretty cool set up

This FA deck is ugly, but it was only $30. It does have a similar shape as the LB Skate 8.6 decks though if anyone cares. The FA one is just steeper (possibly to step for me since I’ve been skating this Toy Machine that I really like).
