Wow. I shouldn't be this invested in this but reminds me of a close friend I have (had?) who documented his own downward spiral with mental illness via absolutely next level insane facebook posts. Myself and a lot of people have tried to help him but his family has done nothing and most people just laugh and egg him on. Nobody knows what happened to him because he refuses to seek help. At least this chick has people who are legitimately concerned.

Sadly this must happen a fair bit because I know at least two people who did similar. They weren't especially close friends just people I met several times and had on facebook. The first persons posts became more and more nonsensical and eventually led to them sending abusive messages to many people. They disappeared and no one knows where they went.

The second instance is worse because it progressed into real danger to other people. It began with nonsense posts and messages and progressed into obsession and real life stalking of a few girls, real threats and abuse, police and several restraining orders. And it could all be tracked through a long series of posts on facebook, instagram and tumblr. Shits fucked.

I'm not even going to even get into how delusional you would have to be to think that fucking Berkley is racist, but how is preventing students from getting to class an effective way to protest police brutality or racism? What percentage of those students were already on their side on that issue? Like 98%? Why not do this at the police station, or at the Dean's office, etc?

Anyway, looks like they're really winning people over with their brilliant tactics.

You don't understand what's regular about a bunch of college kids living in the most liberal area of the country physically stopping their classmates (who are probably attending Berkeley for that very reason) from attending school and shouting at everyone? As someone else said, go do that at a cop station. You're protesting cops behavior by hassling fellow citizens....Seems like the definition of regular.
