Lately Ive been trying to think of video parts that have no flip tricks at all, but were still really fucking gnarly. I'm not talking about parts released before rodney mullen invented the kickflip, but parts after and in videos where a lot of other dudes had a good lot of flip tricks in their part. I can think of 3 off the top of my head.

Julien Stranger - Skypager
Sean Sheffy - Life A Soldiers Story
Ben Gilley - Black Out

I'm sure theres more that I overlooked but those are just the three I can think of off the top of my head.

Anyways,

Besides one switch flip, Matt Mumford's mostly-handrail part in Opinion is really good.
There was no wire. Clark's planet needed him.

^sw flip nosegrind pyramid ledges, ollie up to backside flip, and i think 1 other trick but i cant watch now.
but jake is noteable in general for not needing to do flip tricks or even ollies to do cool shit.

i have a feeling carlos ruiz's blind part has like 1 flip trick or 0

jub probably has a part with no flip tricks.

Templeton usually only had a few impossibles and maybe one or two other flip tricks in his parts. I remember seeing him win some contest on TV a long time ago without doing a single flip trick in his run.

AVE's Mindfield part only has 3 flip tricks - 2 switch tres and a switchflip (4 if you count switch bigspin as a flip)

Off the top of my head John Fitzgerald for Alien was pretty heavy footed ripping, also, Nick Boserio didn't flip much either.

I'm not sure if it counts as a video part, but Eric Dressen's 411 pro files part is gnarly.

I know he doesn't really flop his. Board much but the first thing I think of when I think of him is doing 100mph tre flips.

Jake's opener in Mind Field is a nollie backside flip... that part is probably his most fliptrick heavy but I'd still call it definitive Jake Johnson.
Plus, footage he had for gravis, destructo, brickharbor was pretty fliptrick heavy.

Chewy Cannon in Make Friends With The Colour Blue had a less than a handful I think.

What about parts that don't have any grinds?

Ronnie Creger has 50+ tricks in his What If? part and not a single grind.
