I'm not sure why this shoe never came out in mass numbers, imo one of the best looking skate shoes to ever come out ( looking, haven't skated it so I can't speak to performance )

I could also wear these to work and the boss would be like 'pretty nice shoes'.

That is a very attractive shoe. I don't think I would want to skate it, necessarily, but wow.

im kinda bummed on the NBs that i ordered, at first i had a couple sessions and they felt ok. but having no support in the front of the shoe got me bummed and i switched over to the superstar adv. last week i tried wearing the NBs to the store to maybe see if they would feel more comfy or not and after like 10 mins of walking in them they felt too tight and made my feet hurt hella bad. nallid is gonna let me have some insoles he bought and didnt like so im hoping that will help. but if not ill just drop them off at red park in the hood here in sj. oh well.

i would have liked if they talked about how the quality wasnt up to snuff with black box and they took several seasons off. i appreciate that they did to revamp.

Maybe it was their first crack at it, wasn't ready yet (quality-wise) when they first released.

Now, no problems now. The 533 model I always skate lasts a long while.

That was really informative and well put together. I loved that they showed the process of making the shoe since it's a thing that interest me a lot. I really want those 868 too.

Yes, I have 3 pairs and a couple 997's.

But they cost more than $100, last full price 997 I paid was $225.

Got an email about another Weartest. Should receive the shoes in about a week. Hopefully they send me my right size this time. Excited to try a new pair out. For those that have asked, it took around 4-6 months to be accepted for the first weartest and it has been maybe 3-4 months since then to get a second pair. Sign up online and be patient.

spot on. email correspondence started feburary 2nd 2016 and just got confirmation i'll be getting some in the next few weeks. pretty hyped. i've also only seen one pair of new balance at all (pro courts) in the wild since they've come out, psyched to try these.

They're changing up their wear test site and wanted everyone to re-register. I didn't even bother. The last one I got was a few weeks ago, it took nearly half the test time to receive the shoes and I had 2 weeks to break them in before I had to send them back. Nah, I've got a ton of my own shoes I need to skate through.

got my weartests. both pretty tight, may have to skate with a super thin insole just to make them bearable, should have went half size up. both brown leather/gum, one pair of arto's and one pair of brighton's. arto's feel nice. brighton's hurt my feet.

Turtle - this was definitely a colorway they released when they were still with Blackbox, I had a pair (pic below). That said, I think it might've also been a carryover to the new factory. How you can tell is by the sole pattern. The first pic is the sole pattern they used on all Stratford while with Blackbox. The second pic is the Stratford sole they're using since being produced with the new factory. Hope this helps.
