Dropping by to say how happy i am with the 440s. They don't feel as tight as the 913s and fit true to size for me. I think these are definitely top3 of the most comfortable shoes i've skated. Only the heel cushioning was a bit better in the 913s, but not by a long shot. Next ones will also be 440s for sure.

I haven't actually skated either the 868 or the 420 - I'm just trying them out on my hardwood floor to keep them in returnable condition. I keep buying stuff blind online when I see a sale hoping to find one that works for me because my local never stocks these. The uppers have been fine or I'm sure they would break in but I can pretty much tell when a sole has no give.

My local might have the 533v2. I know they've got the 913 but I'm straight up never going to pay full price for them and I feel like a scumbag "showroom-ing" at a non-chain store.

id like to try some NB#'s I have to travel to the other side of Sydney just to even to try on a pair than look like a dick when i go home to find them on sale.... i know they know

anyway do they NB#s sizing sounds like its hard to gague.. if im a 9 tts would i be sizing up or down usually.. or every model is different like adidas skate shoes

I heard one reviewer claim he designed it. I came to find out the 420 was already a NB runner that was altered just a bit to be a skate shoe.

Pretty much, I think he partook in testing the shoe and helping develop it, just to be the face and whatnot. Kinda like Sheckler and the Marana

No the 420#  is a skateable version of the 420 NB classic

I had these for a bit, finally getting around to skating in them. The 533 v.1 and v.2 are my favorite NB# model. Sad they will be discontinued. I have a few pairs that will last me for a bit.

Hopefully, a new Tiago pro model cup sole will be a good replacement.

Well, if you think about about it, there’s no way he leaves a company where he already had a pro model for a company that wasn’t offering him one instantly as part of his new deal. Doesn’t mean it’s coming out right away though, could still be in sample stages.

Very true, since Westgate said that he was trying his for almost a year before they launched.

That being said bummed that the 533 is getting phased out, and hopefully that does not mean that PJ is leaving the team.

Yeah, I'd agree with this. They're roomy to say the least. Roomy and they fit weird and the tongue slips like a mofo in them. Wish they'd polish these up a little because they're (almost) my dream shoe and really would be if they didn't fit/wear like shit.

I want to love the 420's so badly.

its a shoe you have to try on. depends if you also want to wear for skating or chilling.

Just got the 288s last night, and it's probably the best NB shoe I've skated(it should be said I only skated in them for about 20 minutes but I got a feeling). My previous favorite was the 533 but those weren't always the best for chilling as the support they offer when skating didn't always translate well to just walk around shoes. 288s felt great right out of the box, really looking forward to skating them some more. On a side note...they kind of remind me of a slimmed down version of the Emerica MJ 1's from way back when.

Will probably cop those burgundy 913’s in the next couple weeks or so. As whole, Skate shoe design is pretty boring now, but I like NB’s approach outside of going crazy with some of the colorways on their tech shoes.

I don't know how the old 288 fits but these feel true to size. I wear a 9 in vans, adidas, and nike and the 9's for these feel perfect. I love NB but their sizing really is all over the place, I can be anything between an 8.5 to a 10
