Hey Roth, can we expect any new 440 highs this summer? Most places are out of stock in my size for existing colorways
[close]

Yes!  More coming.  We have 1 new one coming for Summer in May sometime, then we have 2 coming in Fall, one a regular 440-hi and one a 440-trail version of the Hi.  Those are pushed a little further out though due to factory and shipping issues.
[close]
When you say trail version, is it similar to those NB x Primitive collab 574s or is it just a normal skate 440 Hi with trail colorway/inspo?
Pretty proper casual trail hiker.  A little more built up in the upper with materials that are better for hiking as well, but much more of a hiker than that low top 574.

Can you confirm that white/green 1010 above is going into production?

i'm interested in hopping on the new balance bandwagon but in order to do so, i need a wide vulc shoe (or a cupsole comparable in grip) that's at least as thick/supportive as an OG nike blazer. what do you nerds recommend?? (please don't say 440s, i've tried them on and they're way too narrow for me)

The 1010 is what you need. Wear em for a few days casually or leave em in a hot trunk for a day then skate em.

I’d recommend the 306’s. If you tried 440 lows the highs fit much nicer (and more comparable to a blazer). I know you said not to mention the 440.

Westgate 508s or 272s. The 272 had about the same sole thickness as a Blazer. The 508s felt slightly thinner/more fitted but are a cup

306 would probably be your jam.

1010s are wide, but are a thick cupsole. Took awhile to get used to how they feel skating (and that was coming from Emerica G6 cupsoles). That being said, I fucking love the 1010s so much.

But if you’re a vulc person, 306 for sure.

It's coming.  It's like a Boston Celtics colorway...I could never put those on my feet but it's a banger.

Is there a NB shoe like the 440 but on a longer lasting sole ?
My upper still has a lot of life in it but the sole under my big toe is already gone.
Normally it's exactly the opposite for me.
But I like the way they skate and would buy NB again when there's a more durable option.

Before they phased them out, the 533v1 and 533v2 would be pretty close suggestions to be like the 440. Sole and upper on those were pretty durable and not too thin.

The 808 that's coming could be a good one, the new 425, and if there are any numeric 574's then those, too!

Thanks man ! 425 looks promising. On pics it looks like there's a bit more meet at the toe area.
Gonna check them out.

They need to make a total blackout version of the tiagos with the N barely noticeable. Their logo looks so ugly to me.

I like the tonal N logo on this pair. Goes well with the color blocking.

I'd like to try some NB's. Narrow - medium foot width, love Blazers and Ishods, and prefer cupsole. What are the NB's to go for then?

Sounds like a 440, 508, or a 288S.

About a month in some 1010 tts and I'm firmly in the heel slip camp.  They're the perfect shoe but just not for me. Such a bummer.  I'll try some half size down at some point because like I said, perfect shoe, but i haven't been much for jamming my feet into 11.5s for a few years now.

I’m in a similar way, I’ve also got the heel slip. Heel lock lacing helps. I went a .5 size down, and although I skated the shoe for awhile, for me, it was too tight.
In every other way the shoe was the most comfortable. I’ll get another pair eventually, from my experience I’ll go tts and just deal with the slip. Narrow heels, my only weakness*. Nike always fits me for this reason, but those dudes are whatever.

Does anyone here know if we can ever expect to see another run of the 913s, the original Brandon Westgate shoe? It is my favorite skate shoe I've used before, and I have two pairs on ice. Just wondering if I should be making a more concerted effort to obtain any other stray pairs I can find before they're gone forever.

1010 heel slip went away for me as they broke in more
also bought a pair half size down based on a bunch of people saying they run big and they're way too small, i'd say don't bother trying .5 down

My tiagos fit absolutely perfect, are well broken in and sadly there is still a good amount of heel slip when pushing. I feel like heel pods just don't work for some people. Can't go down a size or even crank the laces down because then it would be too tight. A shame because otherwise these are literally the perfect feeling shoe.
