@hayduke lives @rothdigga wondering if the black and olive 440 is indeed the new synth color and if the wides are synth as well? they look great so hoping they are
If they have it listed as a wide then they probably got a run of the 2E width ones to sell I'm guessing.
Mine should arrive today, so I will follow-up; "probably got a run of the 2E width ones to sell I'm guessing" isn't exactly reassuring as the only dark colorway 440v2 that's been listed on the NB site as a wide has been the blk/gum (this colorway isn't even up yet).
they are indeed!
EDIT: just arrived. They're 2E for sure (says on the box and under the tongue) as there is a WIDE tag on them - no visual indiication/marker if these are vegan or not but pretty sure they are as the 'suede' areas have a very soft 'non-suede' feel to it.
Initital fit: TTS (10.5) width is really nice; feels like a 2E - I've got a pair of [nike] runners that are 2E. Took out the stock ortholite and put in something with arch support an there is plenty of room+with no special socks to fit or fill out the shoe.
Recenlty, I switched to Xero barefoot shoes for working out and some barefoot style slip-ons for 'house shoes' all using the same insole (about two weeks straight now) - plenty of toe splay in them and these NB# feel 'fine' just walking around as compared to say, asics or any other shoe I had on hand to skate in. They all felt cramped compared to the barefoots.
Colorway is way more bad.ass in person.
It's the first truely wide feeling skate shoe (for me anyway)...feels weird since most are always too narrow. Mid-foot also plenty wide for me.
Top two eyelets on each pair were a struggle to lace, 2 weren't even peirced all the way.

New box, no extra laces =(
