So I understand the no leaks thing for Reynolds’s 933 but are shops really being asked to order a shoe totally blind without any idea what the shoes actually look like? Are the nb# reps visiting shops in store to possibly show a version of the shoe to buyers from an iPad or pics or anything? I know a Reynolds shoe will sell like gangbusters regardless but just curious with how shops can struggle with overstock on shoes that don’t sell.

440 v2 insoles.

Anyone had any luck with after market insoles on these. I ordered a pair of the NB/Superfeet arch support insoles but the carbon fiber piece on the bottom was too wide to fit in the shoe and not able to be trimmed like the toe section. I need some arch support but not like the FP gamechangers where it felt like standing on a tennis ball.

been skating the v2 with some Remind Boo johnson insoles. They felt great with light skating (arch still feels a litte high somehow), but the other day I actually popped more than usual and now my arches are sore as fuck up to the ball of my feet

could be me baby-ing my feet for a while, but the insoles feel great in the 440 v2 while youre skating

just remembered I walked around the MET for hours in 1010's the next day so my assessment may be inaccurate

Good to know. I never looked into Remind mostly because Chris Cole rides for them. I sent back the NB/Superfeet comfort insoles and ordered the NB/Superfeet slim fit. I’ll post about those once I get them and can see if they work or not.

yeah only thing that gave it away was the numeric logo on the fuelcell foam in the outsole, kith branding all over the normal numeric spots

Oh I see it now.  I was looking at the ad copy.   I like the one with the blue liner and brown toes a lot. 

NB has good paneling for interesting colorways.   I still think the sea salt 600s were one of the underrated pairs that came out last year bc everyone had eyes for the smurfs

I also back this - 913s were some of the best shoes I've ever skated. The plastic piece on the instep kept the shape so well and they lasted forever.

 Either of those kith 480 color ways would look sick in a hightop version imo. The tan toe with white perf leather on the ankle or the white toe with the grey suede on the ankle.

This helped me realize it’s just nice having something fun like this to look forward to.  Intervals in mid-November, and maybe a peek at “the shoe” around then.  I’m not an early adopter either, so there will be more excitement to be had in trying it on, and finding the right colorway + pricepoint to dive in with.

I love em too, for skating! My flip tricks work the best with 808s. I tried walking in these a few times and got knee and back aches.

I had a hankering for 913s after watching the latest Tyler Surrey part, the last 2 pairs I got fell apart in the first session, the glue couldn't hold up in the tropics. @rothdigga did me a solid and sent out a few replacement pairs which was very awesome.
