It might have changed/been a production error, but the one pair of 440 v2 lows I bought is substantially shorter than the pairs of highs:

I'm on my second pair of 440 v2 highs in 10.5. And have one pair of lows in 10.5, and it is noticeably smaller than the highs, especially lengthwise:

https://www.slapmagazine.com/index.php?topic=89457.msg4211770#msg4211770

Apparently this might be by design:

https://www.slapmagazine.com/index.php?topic=89457.msg4212134#msg4212134

But I tried a pair of lows in 11 at a skate shop. And they felt substantially larger/longer than the 10.5 highs. So maybe try before you buy. And don't assume the high/low sizing to be the same!

No worries. It’d be interesting to hear other people’s comparisons too. The 440v2 high is probably the best fit NB# shoe I’ve tried. Would love a low that also works for my feet  :-\

Probably been covered but could someone please share if the sizing of the 440v2 high and low is the same?
Same

For myself, may differ with others, but I wear a 12 in 440 lows and 11.5 in the highs

the Vu 440 lows fit small on me. Agree with your previous post - it was hard to describe. Not toebox height, forefoot width maybe? Just never felt comfy, and broke em in a good amount.

Looking at some newer colorways, I’m hesitant to try another pair of the lows. The white/green for example. Has it been updated or no ?

440 v2 hight and low are both same for me, too, and fit really nicely. 480 high and low are pretty roomy on me.

see, 480 fit great TTS (and literally countless other NB models in the same size) for me. The 440 low def felt half size small - quite a shame.

you both can have one

anyone go from 440 to 808?

The homie skatesum blessed me with a pair he skated for 20 minutes and I cant do them either

tried giving them to a few homies but it isnt their cup of tea either

may just pony up and try again or something

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

Premier shop teasing a collab.  Based on the lace holes it looks to be a 480

willing to accept a generic answer, but regarding nb collabs - are certain models offered over others or is it just what people want to work with and what's within the project budget if it's a different model/vaulted?

Actual NB guys can answer more accurately, but the Lost Art 600 seems to be because Knox is one of their riders

I missed out on this colorway when the 1010 first launched. Went with the white/blue/yellow leather pair, but I would love to see this colorway make a return for a season.

Both should come back. I copped the very first white leather ones too and need a retro on em, still my fav CW of the 1010

yeah a collab 600 that's knox-adjacent seems right, but also makes me wonder if that model is relatively locked down for collabs for a little bit, with that being an easy exception.

i'm definitely overthinking this

Nah I think it’s interesting too.   Honestly the only # shoe I can’t recall a collab with is the Westgate 508 and that’d presumably be because an Element collab isn’t the coolest thing to have (esp when you have ex-riders who are TMs and have the potential to not be thrilled with how thinks shook out over there)

Probably been covered but could someone please share if the sizing of the 440v2 high and low is the same?

I skated both. 8.5 and 9. I'm in a limbo with them. 9 feels good, but i have some room in the toe box. 8.5 is snug but can feel my toes ram in the toebox. When I break them in...the 8.5 still has the same feeling even broken in. The 9 feels like a floppy sea cow on my feet after a week or two. Both styles felt the same.
We rode 7.5's" and didn't complain.

Just got the 600 CWG colorway (white / grey, leather) and am currently breaking them in.

Unexpectedly they feel a bit snug at the toe as compared to the Knox green/white colorway, which I really enjoyed previously. I'm hoping they give in a bit, as the initial feeling is marginally a bit too tight (just at the toes, elsewhere they feel nice).

Anyone else experience something similar with the 600?

My only, and most important 600 experience, is that the leather ones are totally different fit and comfy wise than their suede counterpart.
In other words: Fuck leather.

Same experience with me. TTS 9.5 too small. Size 10 way to big. Such a shame, 440V2 is such a good looking shoe and it skated great, felt like I was going to do some toe damage so I had to retire my pair

Thanks y'all for the info. Ordered different sizes now and will compare myself.

Ok so I got both high and low 440 v2s in different colors. Highs in 'indigo-seasalt' and the lows in 'new spruce' colorway. Both pairs in size 9 have a very similar fit. I compared them sole to sole and couldnt see a difference in length.
As mentioned above I am also curious about how roomy the toebox will feel after breaking them in and skating them. They do feel a bit roomy but half-size down they were super tight/too small. Hope I can finally put my quest for a good fitting shoe to rest.

Feels like a pretty big missed opportunity to not make the entire shoe out of the mushroom-based leather that just the N and tongue tag are made from

I'm not sure the costs associated with it and also durability of mushroom-based leather so I think they went with just the highlight pieces.

willing to accept a generic answer, but regarding nb collabs - are certain models offered over others or is it just what people want to work with and what's within the project budget if it's a different model/vaulted?

Depends on the shoe and colab partner.  Generally we like to use NON-Pro models like 480, 440, 272, 574 unless there's a direct angle like the Knox Lost Art mentioned where Knox has been a part of Lost Art or the Tiago x Rone because Tiago was a huge Tony Ferg fan so those just fall into place easier.  Hope that makes sense.
Natas x 480High was purely Natas just liking that shoe and wanting to do that color up.  303/Jeremy Fish has done shop shoes now on the 288s, 272 and 480 so they have had stuff across the board.
