i still got 2 pairs of the hi 440 v1’s to skate, i’m going to really miss that model when my stock runs out.

I do wish they kept the wider V1 toebox.

i do have a pair of the v2's that i've just been walking around in for a while trying to get a feel for them, but i really liked the wider toebox as you said, the subtle branding and just overall sleekness of the v1.

i'm not somebody that really shreds through shoes too quickly, so the v1's last me a good while. i'm sure the v2's are more durable to some degree, but i'm not entirely informed as to why they decided to re-work such an already amazing shoe.

My partner got me a pair of the all black 440 v2 highs for Christmas :’) excited to skate them once my ankle is healed enough. I had the og 440 highs awhile back and really liked them, but wished they had a little more cushioning. The og ones are slightly better looking too imo

The extra cushioning under foot is quite nice in the v2. Whole shoe feels more solid too. Not stiff by any means, but it just doesn't get all floppy And bag out as quickly.

this would have been an excellent move (co-existing).

i get that the v1 kinda flops out but i personally like flimsier cupsole shoes, the v1 was skatable (for me) directly out of the box and i'm not totally getting the same feel from the v2's.

I still kinda want a vulc shoe for chilling. The 306 is okay but I am wondering about the 417 low in white. Haven't found much info about them. I tried the 417 mid with the white leather but those absolutely crushed my toes and I had to give them away. So what about the 417 low? Anyone has experiences with them?

Jack curtin’s been wearing those brown ones on IG and they look so good.  Even if he didn’t skate amazingly , he’s worth having on the team bc he really shows their shoes off in the best possible light
