Guys, just wanted to be fully transparent to our SLAP homies, give you a peek behind the curtain and let you all know that we indeed had to push the 933 Reynolds shoe launch back to mid-April.  There was a factory production mistake that would have compromised the durability of the shoe and unfortunately, the only solution is to push the launch back 2 months and get them re-made.  We're definitely NOT going to put out a Reynolds shoe that isn't as good as we can make it, so this was the best solution.  Both launch colors will come out now currently planned for Friday 4/18.  I know that's a bummer for you all, but at least you'll now get imagery (per the Thrasher cover and more to come) from here on out.  Thanks for all the love on here and understanding.

Are you coming to Slow Impact? I was hoping there was going to be a secret reveal there but this cover photo made me feel like a kid again.

I believe Jeff Mikut (our designer) is going to do a panel discussion about this shoe at Slow Impact so I'm guessing if you want to nerd out on shoe design stuff (and probably see the shoe in person) it would be worth attending that.

That should be a global launch date, so EMEA should be aligned with the same launch as us in the US.

That is totally understandable. We waited this long, we can wait a little more for quality assurance. Also remember to order 10.5's for North America

Will there be an ad with the shoe in Thrasher before April? I have to imagine this recent Reynolds cover was strategic so it coincided with his shoe release

There should be full images of the shoe rolling out over the next few months as we get closer to launch.  I believe I'm going to have them at the trade show in Vegas that I'm doing next month for shops to see in person.

Big YES on the runner toe! I love athletic looking skate shoes and it just makes sense for a NB# pinnacle shoe...

Of course!  Jeff is behind everything.  But for reals, Andrew was HEAVILY involved in this one.  More than any pro I've ever seen with a shoe design, he really does a great job at knowing what he wants and being able to articulate that and add to the entire design and production process.  It's very much HIS shoe.
