I actually really love this shoe. It feels like a greatest hits of the emerica Reynolds plus a bit of the NB DNA to round it off.

The colorways were listed prior in this thread, not sure exactly what page.

None of them sounded very promising, but I’d love to be wrong.

Actually, I take it back.

Black/brown could be pretty dope.

Such a small thing, but I wish there was a little asymmetrical big toe panel thing. I really like looking down at that. Otherwise definitely gonna try them and like the look.
Great point, also missing that detail. Usually I love brown shoes but these ones don't work for me for whatever reason. Looking forward to see the other cw.

Not into this colorway, but if it has the same board feel as 1010’s, or better, I would be willing to give them a try. Going to have to see if my wife ass feet can fit into them though.

If it has worse board feel than the 1010, not sure I can make it work. They look like they will be similar though

I am not saying this is the same shoe but you can see how NB can color up the Reynolds shoe crazy if they wanted to. The sole being different colors can create some interesting looks.

Is there demand for crazy colored shoes these days? I always thought everyone prefers simple colors. I can only speak for myself here, but I looked for some comfy NB chillers. Spent a good hour to find a simple colorway of the 1906.

Had to google the 1906 cause I wanted to see the options and found they make a 1906 loafer and it’s so hideous It’s amazing - so thank you for that .

Maybe I’m in the minority but I think it’s a lot better looking than the 1010. Not sure if I’d buy em. Not a NB fan at all.

Bit of a long shot, but does anyone know where to get hold of size 14 1010s, 440s or 808s in Australia?
Sorry I know this was a week ago and still won't be a sure thing but if cost and time aren't issues you could try going into a store that sells nb or one of the nb outlets (if they're still around) and ask them if they can order them in for you. That way the store pays the postage. You'll feel like a dickhead if they don't fit or something tho.

Definitely not alone here. I think the 1010 is the ugliest shoe in the history of the Numeric lineup. I’ll probably grab a pair of the Reynolds once the shoes I just got are done.

Not completely sold on the first colorway but I think the shoe looks great. Hopefully they retail for less than $120.

Skate shops in Australia generally don't even have the option of ordering 14s. The order sheets only run to 13.

That's why i suggested the actual nb outlet. I've heard of people doing it for basketball and running shoes. Still a good chance they won't be able to do it but if the person really wants them it's worth finding out at least.

How I would see it:

(procrastinating hard tonight)

Nice work, I think this looks much better!

The original wasn’t bad either, but overall, I feel like it lacked coherence. The mesh sections only appeared on the heel and toe, while the middle side panel was just a large brown "patch." By opening up the side panel, the mesh and dark sections are now more present, making it more reminiscent of the original 993 design.

I understand the ollie patch, and I also feel like it could use some sort of design solution. This panel is what gives the 993 its distinctive look. From a manufacturing perspective, the ollie patch is probably more expensive, so maybe it could just have a semi-circular rubber overlay (like Shoo Goo) to bring back the dark color, or it could be designed in a way similar to the Tom Knox model.

If you go back in the thread I believe they have a $135 price tag, which will definitely prevent me from purchasing.

Curious if anyone has tried the nb wides? In what ways are they wider? Toebox, midfoot? Or just wider, but with the same proportions? My issue with most nbs i’ve tried is that the midfoot is a bit too narrow and the toe is way too long. So I’m wondering if sizing down on a wider 440 or 574 would work.

A friend gave me a pair of his wide 440’s, and they just seemed wider in the toe box. I generally skate shoes half a size up, and these things were just too much in all the wrong areas on the side of the sole at the toe area.

I doubt it.  They’re all good, rational dudes and the leak didn’t originate here.   I’m sure they aren’t thrilled, but if they wanted to squash it they’d probably respectfully PM the posters and ask them to remove it

I’ve been trying very hard not to look.  Want to see them irl first

I just noticed the little diamond cut out area above the N on the Reynolds... is that a call back to the diamond bling that were on his old Emerica shoes?

honestly seems like they just relabel them 1 size down and call it a wide. like a 12W is just a 13 in disguise. That is, you get more length and basically no actual width

Does anyone know the story on how that came about, diamond bling w/ the Reynolds 3's? I dont recall him talking about it in interviews and such

I saw it as a 993 nod since his model will be the 933

Not gonna lie. I will rock these in the retirement home in a few decades.

I have a question, I am looking for some comfy chill shoes. Should I wait for the release of Reynolds' shoe or get something like a NB runner shoe?
