i for one will not be changing my entire kit
to accommodate such an eyesore
regardless of performance

the fits these will spawn…
already shaking at the thought

the 440v2 is just a tennis shoe, very inoffensive
people were crying about the size of the logo
not much else
the 933 is a whole different story
I will just be wearing my normal jeans and a shirt with these...like reynolds does. Not really sure what kit you would change to fit into this style of shoe.

The Reynolds shoe is a sportier looking cup sole with a nice shape and pretty true to Reynolds roots in terms of his shoe shapes and style. When I see the 933 I see a very Reynolds looking shoe which means it’ll look good in every day skate attire 😂 this is madness lol

well the release is not too far off

Hopefully Reynolds stays true to his roots and does a full tan/gum colorway soon.

The launch brown is so close to being perfect and hitting that nostalgia itch. Wish he went with a gum sole but for now this cow will do just fine.

The runners toe on the 933 isn’t my favorite, but I like the 990 design language, and I’ll quickly get over the runners toe if the 933 turns out to be the Goldilocks NB# shoe I’ve been waiting for.

I’m a huge fan of all the NB# cupsoles, but each one has little annoying quirks. The 1010 has too much heel slip and the sizing has been inconsistent for me. The 808 is too stiff and has heel slip. The 600 runs 0.25 size too big or too small. The 480 sole feels too narrow/tall like an ankle roll waiting to happen, and the stock insole is uncomfortable. The 440 runs too narrow and doesn’t have enough forefoot support.

If the 933 runs true to size and locks onto my foot without having to crank the laces, and if it lets me continue to skate everyday on my creaky 42 year old arthritic knees, then I’ll happily snap up every color way they release.

It won’t be at launch but my next shoes will be 933’s. However I am a 41 year old dad so definitely in the target demographic.

As soon as the 933 will be on the discount rack, I'll send my Lynx to the yard work duty.

I'm not shitting on the 933 by any means ... but just finding the 1010 and loving the way they look and the way they feel on foot, I don't see the need to spend more on the 933 ... especially when I'm finding 1010's for $50-60.  Even though I've been told they are worth it, I just can't justify it to myself currently.  Psyched for everyone who does though

This is exactly how I’m starting to feel about the 600. I recently bought a pair to see if I even like a full midsole before going all out on the Reynolds and I’m liking them so much that I don’t really see the point of spending more. I’ll probably still impulse buy the Reynolds anyway, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I go back to skating the 600 after one pair.

I also really like the 600 but mainly the launch colorways, those fit near perfect. The tongue on them is a bit thicker as the newer versions. I also feel there are a bit of sizing differences across materials and colorways. Sometimes my usual size fits great sometimes it fits too large.

Can't wait to try the 933, which will hopefully solve all the shoe madness for everybody.

I believe this is, and will be, a problem we face with every shoe.  I've experienced that in most shoes, across most brands when I buy multiple pairs in different colors/materials

I'm the same with 600s. I have 4 pairs of the all black and 4 pairs of the all white on ice. I don't really like the other colorways so I get pairs whenever they are on sale. Pretty easy not to have shoe madness this way.

The 600s fit my foot like a glove. If it wasent for the drop, id rate them 10/10. By drop, I mean that they feel like a runner shoe, with the heel being taller than the front foot. I prefer skate shoes that are fairly flat.

Andrew Reynolds is my fav skater. Ive had all but this Emerica 1s. In fact, Reynolds 2s were my 2nd pair of skate shoes ever, after Es Accels. Def going to buy the 933!

I quit instagram but is there like zero marketing push for the Reynolds? You’d think for a shoe dropping in 2 weeks we’d have an ad or at least promo material. Also soo uhh how much do these cost post tariffs?

My guess is things ramp up next week. That Dave guy from BluetileSC asked for people's questions for Reynolds in his IG story and says he's flying to LA to interview him next week. I would guess that alot of the promo is happening soon. I've also heard they are doing a documentary on the process of making the shoes. We will see.

Hey pals, quick question regarding the 1010.

I wear a 7.5 in the 306, 440, 600 and 808

The 1010 in a 7.5 fits a bit too large, I took the insoles out and compared the length with the 440 insoles. There is a slight difference in length.

So far the 1010 half size down fits nice, wide enough at the front. The only thing that feels a bit weird is the heel area and those heel pods inside, but only the left shoe. The right shoe fits great. Do these things soften up or break in a bit more after a few wears?

What are you pals experiences?

the two pair of 1010s I've had I had to do a heel lock lace on them for a week or so and then heel slip and other issues with fit went away.

I'll add if you are in a world where you walk on wet floors the 1010 are absolutely awful until the sole wears in a bit. Walking on ice with ice shoes probably has more traction.

The 808 lite’s are popping up all over the place. The photos are hard to tell if the shape was adjusted at all in the toe box. I’m hoping it’s an illusion and they didn’t round it out and make it stubbier 🥶

I would be mad if they messed up 808. Still have 3 pairs of og 808 in stock. I read the new model fit smaller than usually, so maybe .5 up like the the og?

I’m curious about this as well. I skated three pairs of size 10’s and then my fourth went up to 10.5. life changing move 😂 I’m usually a 9.5-10 in NB’s depending on the model

Same experience with the soles, fresh out of the box they have a coating that makes them slippery, on a waxed ledge it's like slipping on ice. Break them in as chillers before skating them.

Heel slip happens occasionally, didn't both to heel lock lace mine and just tightened them up a bit.

Sizing wise you can go TTS or 1/2 a size down, depending on how patient you are with breaking them in. If I went 1/2 size down I'd break them in as chillers for a month before skating them.

I thought the main point of the 808 lites was to fix the sizing so ppl could go tts rather than go .5 size up?

Glad to know I’m not crazy. Had black with gum, now on green with black sole from the fall.
In the cream and latest blue cws both felt a bit bigger at the end of the forefoot towards the toes. Got the blue a half size down, a bit worried it may prove too tight.

I’ll admit that ad really makes the shoe look good. Maybe in person they will be better. Still not convinced though.
