Daddies have the 933 for $110 if you use their discount code. They have a few sizes at the time of this comment, including size 13.

Had a second session on the 933 today. Flat and curbs. I’ve been staying away from skating flat or anything remotely with impact for the last few months due to an adductor strain and I’m sure the shoes I had weren’t doing me any good, so I got the 933’s in an attempt to cut down on pain during the session and after. Second time skating them I felt much more comfortable in them and throughout the 90 mins I skated flat it only improved. I have never jived with a cup sole this early into its life like I have this shoe. Didn’t feel the narrowness on the right foot I initially did. First day they were super grippy but that’s likely just coming from skating an old janoski to a fresh cupsole. Haven’t skated flat that long in forever and feel pretty good so I intended on staying with this one as long as nothing weird happens

Got a pair this afternoon. Skated em as soon as I got em and I really dig them Coming from the 1010s they were a bit different and stiffer. I noticed the sole was A LOT more grippy than the 1010s. As as soon as I had them on for 30 minutes they felt super comfortable. I had to readjust my kickflip flick but the runner toe thing helps.

If you like the 1010's you're gonna like these!

Still waiting on mine to come in. My only hesitation is the comparison to the 1010. I know a lot of people that swear by those shoes but for me personally they where the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet, skate shoe or not. I’ve had plenty of Reynolds Emerica cup soles over the years so I’m hoping these work for me.

spot on! - the 1010 comparison is not really fair because they're a different shoe. it's more similar to his Emerica pro models IMO.

They're definitely not stiffer. You can take a new pair of 1010 and try to flex them torsionally and they're way stiffer. Even just flexing the sole front to back the 993 and noticeably more flexible.

I've got very little time skating them so far and the adjustment from 600s was noticeable, but the 933 skated better for me at this level of break in.

I won’t disagree with your experience, but in mine, the 933 is noticeably stiffer front to back than the 1010, but not as much as the 808. In the Shredz Shop video, Jeff Mikut described adding the primo plate for primo protection but also to restrict the flexibility of the 933 from the heel to the midfoot.

I compared the 1010 and 933 both new in the shop the other day.  I would say you could flex the forefoot of the 933 more and it felt a tiny bit more flexible. You can feel the thickness, but the foam is softer.

I just took a broken in 1010 on one foot and put my 933 on the other and stood on a few boards. I've walked about 2hrs in the 933 and skated it for like 45-60min but nothing crazy. I felt more at home in them almost immediately and from what I recall it was a more comfortable break in the 1010. The 1010 does feel more flexible and thinner, but you can't twist it in the midfoot either. The 1010 feels like the heel sits higher as well and you can tell that the 933 sole has softer rubber and protrudes less. So far the heel stability of the 933 has felt really solid to me.

I hated the 480 and 808. Could barely skate either. The 933 felt way chiller first sesh likely cuz the sole doesn't feel like a 2x4. Time will tell if I want to skate them more but for now I'm so used to the 600 it'll be hard to pull me away.

As someone who hates the 480 and absolutely loves the 600, I'm interested in your opinion on how the 933 compares to the 600? Boardfeel, fit, ankle roll-ability, y'know. Much obliged.

That sounds like great news to me. Are first didn't like the olive ones at all but after seeing them over and over they're starting to grow on me. Still, in getting the brown ones as soon they show up around here. Wonder if because of the delay there will be some cw news.

The 600 was my go to before picking up a pair of the 933s. What I like about the 600s is they’re light with enough impact protection for what I do. My heel sits lower in the 600s compared to the 1010 so I don’t have any heel slip.

With the 933s, my heel also sits low, but in a different way that feels super stable like some kind of anti-ankle roll design. The 933s are lighter than the 1010 and the 808 but not as much as the 600. Still impressive though considering all the tech they packed into it. The shoe is stiff but it flexes enough that my feet don’t fatigue like they do in the 808s. Less board feel in the 933s compared to the 600s, but the Abzorb insole is the shit. It compresses without a lot of rebound. So it’s comfy and holds up well to impacts while giving me enough board feel for my tastes.

The 933 basically has more foam in the midsole so ur foot sits higher overall, but fairly level like the 600. For me the 1010 heel drop is not huge, but I notice it. They are very, very different shoes. I'm not sure if I need and like the difference, but I didn't have too much issue skating the 933. For tricks like nollie front 180s I like to really feel where the ball/arch of my foot are in the pocket and I can't really do that in the 933. The flick is definitely a bit different and I have to have less foot on the board and flick harder. I actually don't think the 933 insole is that great. The material is cool, but there's zero arch support. I run Superfeets in my 600 for this reason and basically make it a thin 1010. If you had to ask me right now no the 933 will not replace the 600, but it could be a good second.

I know everyone is 933 now, im waiting on mine . Lol

But did anyone notice how different the foy80 feels?

Much more feeling, a bit narrower and less bulky it seems.
I have had 480 from the orange pair and i have the chocolate ones and the reynolds white with new strap , but the foy80 seem like almost a different shoe.

Anyone else notice that?

What’s the final word on midsole cushioning? More in the 1010 or 933? Or same?

Hey Roth how do you find snakes so quickly everywhere you go? Damn.
forgot to answer you here my man.  Without going into too many boring details here's what it boils down to:
Right Place- Look in the right geographic place for what you're looking for (gotta be in the range of your target)
Right Time of Year- don't go in the snow to find a snake that likes the spring, so go at the right time of year
Right Conditions- a heat wave or cold snap will severely affect what you're looking for, gotta know the sweet spot
Right Time of Day- go out when the snakes are out.
Also I don't necessarily find them "quickly".  I went out this weekend and hiked 5 miles on Friday night and 7.2 miles all day Saturday in prime desert habitat and saw 2 total snakes and there were 4 of us looking.

anyone got a line on the tan 933 in 11.5? Not seeing it available anywhere, and sold out on the NB site.

Not sure if this size got delayed potentially - seeing stores got the black/olive in 11.5, but almost seems like the 11.5 in tan didn't come through (most sites just skip 11 to 12).

This won’t be too helpful, but I have seen the 11.5 crossed out as “sold out” in many stores’ websites.   So that could mean they have had it

Need some sizing advice for the 480...

I'm a 12 in almost every shoe brand and model. However, because the 808s are a little snug, I've been on Size 13 NB808 for a few years now and that's been the most comfortable.

I'm interested in trying the NB480. I'm also interested in the wide sizing because I think i have a pretty wide foot.
Assuming I'm getting a wide size, Should I also size up to a 13 in the NB480? Are the sizes of the 808 comparable to the 480?

So Yeah TLDR I'm a size 13 in the 808 standard width. Should i get 12 2E or 13 2E in the 480?

I'm size 14 and the 808s are too tight, they fit like 13s. The 480s are noticeably bigger, like they give me slight heel slippage. I'd get 12.

Same here, but it does look like they did make a 933 in the classic NB grey. In slide 4 you can see a sample one so fingers crossed they release this grey day version

Got my 933, wore them to work to break them in a little. They felt really stiff at first, almost like 808s, but now they’re comfortable. I’d say fit is like the 480 with a better underfoot experience (less aggressive arches).
