I was lucky enough to find a pair of 12 wides at Orchard and ordered them last Friday.  I'm in the Mid-Atlantic, but yesterday and today, USPS shipping is showing my package moving through Denver...............

I don't know what is going on with USPS but almost every package in the past 30 days has been extremely weirdly routed and delayed.  I got them all but later than the expected date and by days ... even when it was sitting 20 min away from my house for 2 days

Yeah, same. It'll show up but it's going to look like it's stuck at a distribution center with no new date in sight and then just appear

I had to size UP just to get the proper length of the shoe. That already means without any other factor, the shoe is not TTS for me.

I didn’t wanna have to admit this, as it is more of a matter of shame, but I am probably more qualified to comment on NB# shoes here than just about anybody who isn’t employed by the company. I own probably roughly around 80 pairs (maybe more) and have about 25 pairs in my current rotation. In every model (808 aside) I am a 10.5.

Also, having been given a pair of wide 440’s I can also comment on why I didn’t buy wides. NB wides are wide in the wrong area of the foot for me (and many others here, go back X amount of pages for confirmation). The wide iterations tend to be wide on the outer toe edge in a way that really fucks with one’s flip tricks.. as there is too much excess in a crucial area of the foot. For those of you who actually do flip tricks still..

That said, why then would I have even considered wides when I don’t NEED wides in any other model?

I get you guys for whatever reason act like I shot your dog because these shoes don’t fit me in my actual size, but there’s nothing I can do about that.. nor can you! So why get your panties in a bunch about MY experience? After all, it’s my personal experience, not yours.

I am 12E in normal NB's, but never tried the Numerics, I am assuming then it's best to steer clear of wide Numerics?

Trying to get a pair of the 933's, but the whole wide/not wide thing is keeping me from not buying.

Side note, if there are any retailers that are carrying 12 wide let me know! Orchard is out.

However, while I sometimes struggle with tightness in a particular area of my foot till a good few sessions in on any shoe, I generally haven’t had to go wide on NB# models.

One thing I have had to do (which is standard here) is half size up on the 808’s, and full size up on any leather models (they tend to run smaller in my experience).

So there’s 4 more colorways coming out next drop. I saw pics of them at my local skate shop and personally I think they are all really nice colorways. I asked if I could snap a pic and post it here but they didn’t want me to so I’m not out of respect.

Black/gum
Brown black and gum
A grey and brown one
Light brown and teal one that has already been posted.

There’s grey day 5/23
Then the Olive JKL on 6/20
Then we have 2 colorways for Fall that will just hit shops when they hit shops in early July
Then 2 for Holiday that’ll also just hit sometime in late September or early Oct like normal Q4 stuff.  Hope that helps.

Just enough between drops to stock up and not feel bad buying 4 pairs of shoes to put on ice (gotta get through the first two pairs....)

Best (NB#) shoe to date; fits my foot perfectly...finally, crazy comfy (been working out in them and they're easily more comfy than my $150 pair of ON trainers - bit heavier though); jury is out on durability but all signs point to well above average.

Olive for skating and camel for chilling until it's time to rotate.

One item of madness check off...

I think the 4 I saw on the NB poster are the latter ones you’re saying. I’m assuming you work for NB so I don’t know why I’m telling you this. Guess I’m just confirming for myself lol

I was kind of not having a vested interest in acquiring the 933s but if the white/gum is actually going to manifest, I think I might have to get a pair after all.

Damn. On the Reynolds, I woulda liked to see some kind of slight cut out in the lateral part of the sole (where the arch runs into the heel). I like the runner inspiration of the 990 & 993s but having a traditional, flat skate sole makes it lose some of its visual appeal. I forgot what skate shoes in the past did stuff like this, but I know the old Vans otw Prichard has some articulation like that. Then even the old Silas slr had a hugely different approach to the way their sole looked.

This happens to all my 808 (like 8 pairs) which is quite annoying but it doesn't affect performance.
As you can see its just starting, on other pair that I still have thing is pretty much a crater.
My question here is: Is this fixed on the 808l?
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

This is a dumb question, but that's what I'm usually good for. Can anyone compare the toe box fit/width of the 933 to the 480? All I've worn is the 600 (toe box is narrow for me), 440(toe box isn't bad), and the 480. All in size 10 with the 480 being the better fit for my toes.

I can't get down to my local for about a week and they only have a 10 left. Trying to see if its worth having them hold them for me.

Rolled around last night. Didn’t know the N and other minor details were reflective on the brown. Makes me like them more
[close]

People may balk at the price, but you def see it reflected in the materials used and quality of the shoe.   It’s not like a $100 Gazelle where you wonder what makes it triple digits

Shit these shoes make my 550s look like they were made by a much lesser company.

Do we know if the olive/black is a one off material wise cause I quite like the leather on the toe over the mesh on the other 3 colorways we’ve seen. I hope that sticks around past the initial run or I’ll have to get a second pair of these.

I don't need another pair of shoes, but I want the black and gum Reynolds 933s. Waiting for that colorway will just allow more time for better feedback from my friends that bought the 933 in the launch colorways.

I've had 10 pairs of 440, 7 600, and some 480. I'd say the 993 fit me more snug all around. The shape is closer to the 600 and 1010 than the 480 that's for sure.

I am between the D and E measurements, and between 11.5-12. Going 12 on these as they are cupsole.

Dropping in to say loving the 933. Only NB shoe that doesn’t murder my arch. I went TTS 11.5 and find them a tad long. Went ahead and ordered another pair in 11 wide. Fits perfectly snug as far as I can tell so far. Is every release having wide going forward? I hope so.
