Honestly the first appealing cw of the 600 I've seen

Edit: Maybe Faith took those photos in bright natural light early in the day/edited but the more stock looking photos from Civil and Rookery make it look more like the "Moss/White" color described

It’s always interesting what colorways people are into. I think that shoe in black/gum looks very nice.

Thems alright. What I mean is no colors pop for me with the 600. It's like walking into a room and not noticing paint on the walls. The shoe itself looks utilitarian and nearly every cw feels conservative and muted, and the 600 only sometimes gets creative treatment in say, highlighting a panel or two with a contrasting color or pattern, so seeing a more unusual shade of green with gray and accents of white is refreshing.

These are a bit old, but I thought these were the best [non-neutral] colorway:

35th Ave has them in 9, 9.5, 10.5 and 11.

The first thing I think of when I see the moss colorway is definitely not moss, but if you like them, get them.

Yeah these product photos loon a lot closer to the sell sheet I originally saw.

Do the unc blue 600s not do it for ya? I really dig those with the gum bottom, but do agree they tend to be a lot more neutral, honestly bright colorways are pretty far and few between for numeric in general. Which I appreciate, getting crazy for collabs is enough for me. I would be interested to see a 600 with mesh that’s a different color from the overlays, or even mesh replaced with suede and different blocking

Just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying my 440 V2s I recently picked up. Olive and black with the minimal orange hits. First cup I’ve enjoyed skating in a while. Just enough arch for my flat feet and supportive in all the right places. I’m coming from Blazer Mids and it didn’t take long to acclimate. The flick on these feels real good. Not too much puff either. Slightly tapered toe without crushing my feet. I’ll definitely have to get another pair.

The blues are ok. I'd probably like them more in person. But green is my favorite color so @Atiba Applebum is right re the bias  ;D

I don't think having less exciting cws for the 600 is a bad thing. You can still get the shoe in almost any color you want. Just the 1010, 808, 272, 933, 480, and 574 tend to be more creatively rendered.

To your point of appreciation -- and, I'm not trying to stan -- but to me, it's impressive how many customer preferences NB# sees to. Thirty or forty someones think a shoe looks ass while as many/more would pay full price for it. The staple cws that always sell stay in rotation while the niche gang also gets options.

I’m with ya for sure, definitely not a bad thing, I just love when they do the different vamp materials for the 933 and 1010 or even when they put mesh on the 480, keeps things interesting. I tend to gravitate towards those types of changes for the variety.

600s have been around for a while
but i didnt really understand them until this photo

were they always this “euro” looking
or was i missing the vision from the start?
this colorway is making me dizzy the longer i look
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

It’s patterned after a pickle ball shoe and Tom Knox who is from England designed it. So there’s that.

Wearing skate shoes to weddings after the age of 15-16 sounds egregious, but I’m pretty sure that person is a professional photographer. However, even caterers wear dress shoes, so all black VM005 might be a better look, if one wants to avoid actual dress shoes or buy their stuff from skate shops.

This just reminded me that at 14 I wore a pair of black/gum Saviers to my brother's wedding. Pretty sick if I do say so myself.

All this wedding talk makes me remember billy marks wearing a beanie to his own wedding.
