I don't wear shorts unless it's 90+. I'm not into that cut off pants with high socks style for myself, but others pull it off.

I went skating in shorts yesterday night and it was like 5c. I hate wearing pants during the weekend because I have to wear them at work. So that's my Cool Story of the Day of the day. Hooray!

if you can get used to skating in basketball shorts, it's the best feeling ever. Although I have taken a chunk out of my shin. But hey in 13+ years, still worth it.

I like that, but I can't keep anything in my pocket when doing so. I'm not talking about phone+wallet+pack of cigarretes+the library of congress, my set of keys fell off more than once. So it's not that practical, but the feeling is great, especially on a hot day.

Depending on where I'm going that day, I usually bring my pullstring pack with me to keep my stuff as long as it's within eyeshot. I'm in the south so you have no choice but to wear shorts when you skate in the summer.

I like shorts for skating and walking the dogs. I'm from the North East US, so I can wear them down to pretty cold temps. Mostly basic chino type shorts (J. Crew, etc.), but on super hot days, I'll throw some b-ball or lacrosse shorts into the mix.
