I think a small fishing tackle box should be sufficient, I don't see a point in spending extra on Independent branding.

I can't find the post to quote but...

The bones ceramic red a def worth it.

They're better than swiss (non ceramic) in the way that they don't really rust on the track. The ceramic bearing more or less keeps its race clean except like ledge chunks from metal edge ledges.

I've tried the swiss ceramics that rich kids had its the same basic quite ride.

I suggest that if anyone can find a set of old element white shield ceramics get those if possible.

That was the best bearings for the money I've ever had. Problem was cosmetic. There was blue plating around the edges of the bearings. That went into the bearings I said Fuck it. 12 years is good.

Got reds then scored the ceramic ones from a homie.

3 years later I'm still rolling fast and quite

yes. These are the shit. I still got mine in a box around here. I just got lucky and got free super reds from a friend so I switched them

That blue anodized shit on the edges sucks though. Flakes of getting in your race. It takes a long long time though

Tactics shop blank board in 8.125, since it was a BBS I though you can't go wrong with that.

Sausage skateboard, managed to find one on discount, thought it would be worth trying out, I did some research on here and it looks like Clutch does the wood.

Venture 5.6, got a pair of Worrest 5.8 by accident, decided earlier this month that I'm over skating boards wider than 8.38.

My Indy 169s are coming to their demise, and i've been back & forthing between Ace 55s and Titanium Indys.  That weight loss would be sick, but Aces look like they'd be great fun for my bullshit.

Just bought some Gamechanger insoles which arrive this week for my new Black / Sail Nike GTs.

Wanna try something different and looking at Tensor MagLight 5.5 lows.
Might cheap out and get MiniLogo 8.38s since they're lows and get hyped a lot online

Wanna buy some good skate pants. I want to order online where name brands are cheap but I'm too lazy to return stuff if it doesn't fit right, and I'd probably get a better deal etc if I just go to a thrift store and buy whatever I find there.

Tactics got some pants on sale, and the volvim frickin chinos look pretty good

Vastly different trucks so your mileage will vary depending on your setup.
Tensor - extremely light, widen WB slightly, great baseplate slide, wears quickly
Mini Logo - lowest truck in the market IIRC, great truck for the price

Im using 5.75 maglights not lows and they do take some getting used to and youll def need to change the bushings but I really like them. Build quality is excellent and they are the smoothest grinding trucks I ever had and unreal light. Totally changed how easy it is to flip or in general move my board. They do wear down much faster if youre grinding concrete but def worth it to me.

^^^ Highly recommend the new tensor mag lights since they actually turn. The aluminum ones are excellent too.

Guys what shape of soft (88A) independent bushings do I get? Conical or cylindrical ???

ive been digging cylinder bottoms. mad my trucks more stable on center compared to conicals and i like the turn. they are ace bottom bushings at 86a so i think thats why the turn is soo good and surfy feeling, 88a would probably give you a similar feel when broken in

Good to know, I'm gonna throw them in the Destructos I got and those run cylinders by default so it's probably more consistent that way. I was planning on using some ace bushings but from what I'm aware they're taller than regular bushings.

Those Venture 5.6 Titanium are gaudy as hell but I love them.

Anyone who how much they shift WB? I found out Thunder Titanium shifts the WB around 3.15", similar to a Thunder Team truck.

I have had 5.8 and 5.2 venture titaniums and they're both roughly +3.43 3.5ish give or take. I assume the 5.6s would be too.

I switched to conicals a few weeks ago and really liked the difference. I like indys and wanted a looser truck feel that was hard to get on cylinders. If Indy turns too slow for you I would give them a shot. It’s not a crazy difference. I don’t feel like it’s unstable, but the turning change was really good. I have titanium’s coming in a few days and I’ll probably put them on those as well.
