finally skated the city cups i told myself i’d never skate. now i’m considering trying something from the 3ST line. any favorites?

I love my 3ST.004 pair, that boost heel is a very welcome feature after having skated only vulcs for a long time.

do you know if those have tongue-centering straps? I feel like it is a major shortcoming in my city cups, but something I hadn't paid much attention to before.

kinda hyped now cus adidas.com has a bunch of colorways of the 004 for half off ($60) !!! gonna have to go try em on somewhere tho

adidas usually runs an additional % off sale every few weeks too. Can sometimes catch your size still in stock and catch a good discount.

They do have centering straps. Also go try them before, they are true to size but lengthwise they could be a little large.

At half price I would give em a try. They are the best shoes I skated in a looong time.

Probably going to be buying some new shoes once the weather warms up a bit more. Looking at New Balance 255 and 379, and Vans Old school Pro or Rowan pros. I’ve never had New Balance and haven’t skated vans since the early 2000’s. Just looking at something that won’t be too hot in the miserable Midwest summer and won’t look stupid while I’m wearing shorts.

Bought this same hat last year because I was bummed about not getting the 7.5" reissue (I knew it was a bad idea). It's a nice hat and honestly filled the void for sure. Would recommend.

i feel torn because the deck i really want right now is a primitive deck i would have to buy direct on some "presale" shenanigans..
the artist on new primitive colab ("Primitive x Marvel) is Jean "Moebius" Giraud who did "The Incal," some of the best silver surfer work of all time, and a TON of amazing work with one of my favorite publishers (dark horse). This guy is one of the true greats, and i am a huge fan of his work.  I saw the Miles Silvas Silver Surfer deck on insta and it looks unreal. i was kind of floored by it.

on the other hand... i really want to support Jamal smith. Hes one of my favorite skaters for a while and deserves his shine. However the current graphic doesn't drop my jaw like the one drawn by Moebius.

get the one drawn by Moebius as a wall hanger, even though it is horizontal. It does look sick. presale2020 was the code for the presale if you had the link? The LS tee was nice as well.
