Ramsey is decent at circulating the ball when he's played centrally and making forward runs, but playing along the wings he looks like a lost little boy. It does seem bizarre to me that they aren't starting Walcott, one of their most dynamic players, during a spell when the team seems to lack any sort of attacking ambition. It looks like Wenger's playing hardball though and I don't blame him because honestly, he really isn't all that good and almost certainly does not deserve the salary bump he's probably asking for. If you were going to draw a line in the sand (one that says "we aren't going to keep selling our best players, thanks very much") it really should have been on Van Persie, not Walcott. The fact that he's English alone probably makes him worth more in transfer fees than in goals and assists.
And for the record, I'm not even really an Arsenal fan. I just find them strangely fascinating.
