Agreed, I was interested in hearing a little more about his first Emerica part and Baker 3, a few more specifics about getting sober and his filming process beyond just skating more, how he approached fatherhood during that time, maybe more party stories re: Gershon, J Strickland, and Knox (though I can see why he wouldn't want to broach that subject), etc. Seems like the episode sort of glossed over the early aughts beyond "he partied, then he stopped" and jumped straight to Stay Gold.
Thought this was great, though. Reynolds is virtually unhateable. It's refreshing to see someone grow old and get more and more psyched and involved with skating, which is the impression he gives off.
I was kind of surprised to see him do that frontside bigspin off the loading dock in the beginning. I don't think I've seen him do that trick before.
